চট্টগ্রাম উন্নয়ন কর্তৃপক্ষ (সিডিএ) কালুরঘাট থেকে সদরঘাট/চাক্তাই পর্যন্ত ৮.৫ কিলোমিটার সড়ক বাস্তবায়ন করছে। প্রকল্পটি সম্পন্ন হলে বাকালিয়া-চান্দগাঁও-মহোরার দৃশ্যপট বদলে যাবে। চট্টগ্রাম শহরের উত্তর থেকে দক্ষিণে সড়ক যোগাযোগ সহজ হবে। সড়ক ও কর্ণফুলী নদীর সৌন্দর্য দেখতে প্রতিদিন বিপুল সংখ্যক দর্শনার্থী আসেন। এটি হবে নগরীর নতুন বিনোদনের স্থান। কালুরঘাট থেকে চাক্তাই সড়ক প্রকল্প সিডিএ কর্মকর্তা জানান, প্রায় ৭৫ শতাংশ কাজ ইতিমধ্যে সম্পন্ন হয়েছে এবং বাকি কাজ ২০২৫ সালের জুনের মধ্যে শেষ হবে।
Chittagong Development Authority (CDA) is implementing the 8.5 km road from Kalurghat to Sadarghat/Chaktai.After complete the project,the scenario of Bakalia-Chandgaon-Mohora will be changed. Road communication from north to south of Chattogram's city will be easier.Large number of visitors come daily to watch the beauty of the road and Karnaphuly River.This will be the new entertaining spot in the city.Kalurghat to Chaktai road project CDA official said, around 75 per cent work has already been completed and the rest of the work will be completed by June 2025.
