DGS Minute 3.10.22

Dear DGS Community,
As many of you know, the amazing Mr. Coyne will be leaving us after this year. We know his contribution to our community has been critical to our success as a school. His contributions as a leader and member of our community are appreciated beyond anything I could state simply here.
We will miss him greatly, even as we now look to the future of DGS and consider who our next Lead will be. To that end, we have established a hiring committee composed of parents from across the school, staff members, and members of the partnership.
As an innovation school, we have opened up the position internally, and a strong candidate has emerged. Ms. Krichbaum has had a first interview with the committee, and they have recommended that she move forward in our process. The next phase of her interview process will involve a presentation to the CSC team, and we will broadcast that presentation via Zoom to our community. During the presentation, we will collect feedback from the chat and relay that information to the CSC as they decide whether to recommend her as well. If she is successful, she will need to get approval from the Partnership, the Luminary Learning Network Board, and the district. Please tune in at 4:15 on March 15th with this Zoom link.
