I am kind of glad that the audience and the hosts seemed shocked when the second guy told them about his experiences. It just shows that not everyone in S.Korea are uneducated and narrow-minded. And that, like in any other country, there are a majority of decent people. Sadly you only hear about the bad things.
The fact that many people thought the concern to have was that the guy looks like a foreigner and not that foreigners get treated that way... I was so happy when Shin Dongyeop voiced that, he really is the best MC
Kpop Fan Not saying all korean ppl are like that, only those who mistreated him. Both types still offend the other race and if those who mistreated the guy are 2, its about time the gov introduce a new topic in the education system. Those who touch the other race's skin and hair out of curiosity is fine but those who hit the back of that guy's head and insulted him because of how he looked is horrible.
Second Concern, I feel bad that some people are mistreating him but I am glad that he can share his story, not only for himself but on behalf of every foreigner and foreigner look alike out there. Time to stop the hating and see the world as it is, a wondrous melting pot.

The guy in the second issue is so nice , I feel bad for him because he doesn't want to disrespect his fellow Koreans by defending himself. So what if he has darker skin and an afro, he's still Korean and shouldn't have to prove himself to anyone. His mother must be suffering because who wants to see their child suffer. Eunji was a breath of fresh air to this situation. Lover her!!
Heyy Thu:3 Man he should be embarrassed. Grown ass man with grown children pissing around the house like some non toilet trained puppy. I'm still watching it now and I can't even fathom why he drinks to such a state assuming he can't control it. What a tool. I feel bad for his wife and daughters.
+Juan Valdez it isn't a matter of koreans being racist or indians being racist, in this world everyone makes fun of everyone, society today is so screwed up it makes me really sad. There is racists everywhere it's not just one country, there is haters everywhere hating on stuff that are really absurd, like skin color, religion, sexuality or preferences in anything, and that's a really sad reality we live in.
+Ozana Janković Yeah there are raciste everywhere, but you know korean is more racist than a normal country or rather a western country. I am from Sri lanka ( tamil side) and me too i look like an indian because of same origin, i feel upset with their comment.
Ozana Janković Yeah I know...I feel grateful even though i am not french, i live in France and people don't care about my origin but they are racist towards black people or muslim guys....So yeah there are racist everywhere but some tolere more or some not...
I love that they made the point that even if he was a foreigner, that's no reason to tease him. You should be nice to everyone. As Dalai Lama said, "Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible."
I couldn't help but tear up with the mother of the 2nd concern. It must be heartbreaking to see her son in that position. People need to learn to accept differences and appreciate and learn to see the beauty in everyone.
KittyOnTheNet becuase some of the audience are two faced--they reacted like they felt really bad for the guy but i bet when they see him on the steets for the first time- they would treat him the same as how the racist people treated the guy.. ilove south korea but some of their peoples hypocracy and bigotry and racism is sky high. they think highly of themselves.. -ps not all south koreans are like that
KittyOnTheNet I think he didn't get votes because people didn't think his skin color and hair were a concern. Other episodes that show people who look different than the Korean norm do not receive a lot of votes as well.
I am still extremely upset the episode with INFINITE was skipped. How do you expect international viewers to watch it in high quality and with subtitles? ???
Apparently they needed to skip an episode to catch up more to the on time airing. Instead of being 3 episodes behind, they wanted to be two. It just so happened that Infinite's episode was that episode to be skipped
The guest who had the problem of people treating him like a foreigner seems so kind. I've noticed a lot of kind people are always getting treated the worse. I don't know why it is that way. Especially his friends... I wish he finds people that loves him for the kind man that he is and defends him.
i really cried during the second concern. its just so sad. how can people be so rude? i lost hope with this world. his face during the simulation with SDY is just so heartbreaking
oh man i couldn't help but feel so bad and tear up for the second guy from busan. how hurt and discouraged he must have been his whole life! omg i can't stop crying!
I totally understand how concern #2 feels. Well, I'm Lao & Thai (asian), and growing up, I was always told by my mom's friends that I look Mexican, Indian, or Filipino. They would say it in Lao, thinking that I couldn't understand them...BUT I COULD! Growing up, I always had to put that fake smile on in front of them, trying my best to not explode on them and cause a scene. I always tried my best to "behave" in front of them, but on the inside, it really hurt my feelings. Especially, when they joke around saying if I was adopted. This happened a lot where sometimes, I just walk away. I do admit that I do kinda look more Filipino than anything, but still to this day, it's still upsetting. I FEEL YOU #2!
Now I am korean and I know the fact that some south koreans are racist, but most of them are just ignorant. Historically, Korea was isolated from Europe, west asia and africa because of its location. The north and west is blocked by china and east and south is blocked by Japan and ocean. I believe that the first european to ever reach korea was like in 1850s? or somewhere between there. Even 10 years ago, South Korea wasn't really well known to European & African countries. This led to isolationism, which made foreigners even more difficult to 'soak in' to Korea's culture. Most of the elders until 30s discriminate foreigners for that reason, and people above the age of 30s are people who have more money and influence than younger people. However, the fact is South Korea is still a very conservative country. But, generations change and people below 20s are now starting to change and accept foreigners. You will be surprised when you see the difference between younger people and older people. P.S. Sorry for my bad english. English is my second language :P
I think the lady and her kids from the first concern should leave that guy and live separately. They shouldn't go to find him when he's so out of it that he can't find the house. Let him rough it out in the street for the night and get sober, maybe it might teach him to stop being a drunkard. How disgusting to live with a man who will constantly get drunk and then pee all over the house. Even animals don't do that. I could not live with a man like him in a house full of urine stench. UGH. Now when I look at his face I find him totally gross. Disgusting, gross, dirty, yuck. If I ever met him I'd puke. He's taking it as a joke which makes me wanna smack him in the face. I can understand why the lady is so angry. This concern should have won 1st place.
I feel ya. His excuses were lame. If he couldnt stand dirty things, why didnt he just go and clean it himself? 😬 Does he think his urine has cleaning effect? grr I felt bad for his family. If I were them id lock him up in a room until he sober up and let him clean everything himself 😬😬😬
I'm getting annoyed of the way they skipping episodes and I was crying at the 2nd concern even though he was a foreigner why would u treat him like that, that's one reason I'm scared to go to Korea but I'm still going, people are meant to be treated equally and Eunji is sooo beautiful.... It was cute when lee San gun was crying I love WIGGLE WIGGLE I honestly don't find it disgusting maybe if I was the audience I probably will or not 😂❤
To guy of second concern Jeonguk, I really feel bad that he is treated like that even though he was actually born in Korea, but I'm glad he was able to talk about these issues on Hello Counselor, there are still a lot of things in S. Korea that need to change, but I truly believe things are getting better, can't let a few uneducated people bring the entire country down. He has very amazing look, and his hair is absolutely amazing. I think after this airing episode, he won't suffer as much as he did before.
Well I do want to go to Korea but I don't know how I would handle racism, to me racism is scary because I'm black and for some reason every race even our own don't like dark skinned people.
Anime Luver don't ever let other's opinions matter more than your own,coz the moment you do that, thats when you stop being yourself, be proud of what you were born with, there is no one else in earth who looks exactly like you,you are unique and perfect,I think there is nothing more beautiful than being confident in your own skin,so be it and those who don't see it initially will catch up with you soon,so do go there one day confidently with your head held high, remember the quote- no one can make you feel inferior without your consent
Sehun Luver come to canada to explore, i think there is not many racist people there. there are multicultural cities especially toronto. i have beautiful friends like you. it sucks some other countries have that kind of perspective because of the influence around them.
For second concern, I don't get why people treat him as a foreigner. He just looks a bit tanned (not even dark) compared to others, and it reminds me of Sistar Hyorin, lol do they think she's from India/Africa/Pakistan too? And not all people from South East Asia have dark/tanned skin. I feel really bad for him though /___\ if he is treated like that how would black people be treated ? :((
July Dao The same thing like Vixx N. The guy didn't look foreigner too me anyway. It's not like everyone has pale skin . It's sad that they treat him like that , as for black people there were black people with concerns that came in the past on the show and they said that a lot of people cursed at him and not wanting to seat near him and stuff like that. I feel really sad that they don't really accept black people. Some would whant to study there but they can't go because of these things
Kpop lover31 I knoooow rite. I watched that episode too btw! If I'm right it was about a black student studying in Korea wasn't it? It's only after watching these concerns that I suddenly realised Korean people are known for their pale/fair skin. Yes it's pretty, but how I wish their personalities were the same. I don't have pale skin and I'm not tanned either. I know not all people are like that but I'm actually afraid of travelling by myself to Korea after this /____\
I cryyy to the second concern :( he's such a good person why anybody make fun on him?? i wish he will has a date soon........ i reallly hate the nampyeon first concern!!! Why dont he stop drinking!! and the owner in third concern is hilarious !!! cant stop laughing!
Too bad that 25 year old guy has to Deal with Racism in his own Hometown! I hope after the show air people will be more understanding & treat the nice guy with respect! It made me really sad for him! I actually cried bc my heart broke for him. His mom looked like she was going to break down in Tears too. Her son being treated horrible! I want to visit South Korea one day when I take a vacation but I'm a foreigner I might not be welcomed Breaks my Heart!
The second concern was just wow...i really felt bad for him and his parents. But i wasn't surprised since i still remember the fuss about there being a dark skinned actress (Juni) in the drama I am Legend
I grew up in the Pacific Islands and the mum of the second concern would fit in there exactly, so it's not surprising that people mistake him for a foreigner. Not surprising, but also really sad in the way that many people apparently react to it. They should believe him if he says he isn't and not even care if it turned out that he was.
The man in the second concern at most looks half Korean, half SEA, but he doesn't look South Asian or African whatsoever. His hair looks afro-ish, agreed, but the features don't resemble any: West, East or South African I've ever seen. Having puffy hair and tanned skin doesn't equal black person.
The second concern shows there are many mean guys in Korea. We, foreigners love Korea & your people so much, but it is sad to see how many Koreans ill treat a foreign like guy.

Heyy Thu:3 Man he should be embarrassed. Grown ass man with grown children pissing around the house like some non toilet trained puppy. I'm still watching it now and I can't even fathom why he drinks to such a state assuming he can't control it. What a tool. I feel bad for his wife and daughters.
bee sae kay I see what you did there ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
i don't know if he was embarrassed but that's really degusting. U have to take care of ur family. I will divorce if i were his wife lol
eunji is so cute
Why hate him coz he looks like indian, well im indian and this was really offensive, now i have second thoughts about korea,.
***** Indians consider guest as god, they will treat foreigners like celebrity, just watch the exciting india episode where idols visit india,
+Juan Valdez it isn't a matter of koreans being racist or indians being racist, in this world everyone makes fun of everyone, society today is so screwed up it makes me really sad.
I am from Sri lanka ( tamil side) and me too i look like an indian because of same origin, i feel upset with their comment.
abelia abelia i know its sad how they treat people sometimes, and koreans are also sexist not just racist...sometimes it makes me mad
Ozana Janković Yeah I know...I feel grateful even though i am not french, i live in France and people don't care about my origin but they are racist towards black people or muslim guys....So yeah there are racist everywhere but some tolere more or some not...
Haha.... Eunji does kissing when she drunk...
I love that they made the point that even if he was a foreigner, that's no reason to tease him. You should be nice to everyone. As Dalai Lama said, "Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible."
Thank you KBS , i was expecting this episode so much!
i cried when Lee Sanghun said
"if you want to laugh, laugh at us comedians. Laugh and make fun of us"
His shirt says København! (Copenhagen)
Major Danish fangirl moment...
YES JUNG EUNJI KISS ME PLS thanks kbs!
I cried in the second concern poor guy I hope that he lives better now
I couldn't help but tear up with the mother of the 2nd concern. It must be heartbreaking to see her son in that position. People need to learn to accept differences and appreciate and learn to see the beauty in everyone.
I'm surprised the second concern didn't get more votes...
KittyOnTheNet they never take racism seriously on the show or in SK for that matter
-ps not all south koreans are like that
the audience probably felt bad thats why. they probably didnt want to hurt his feelings by pressing the concern button
Heyy Thu:3 you get money if you win though, so you can be sure that everyone who goes on the show wants the button to be pressed
KittyOnTheNet I think he didn't get votes because people didn't think his skin color and hair were a concern. Other episodes that show people who look different than the Korean norm do not receive a lot of votes as well.
41:36 XD eunji-yaaa~~~ my weirdo. lol
41:36 My Kind Eunji
Yayy Eunji
As a person living in København (Copenhagen) I got really excited about seeing his shirt!
I am still extremely upset the episode with INFINITE was skipped. How do you expect international viewers to watch it in high quality and with subtitles? ???
They really skip it???..i've been waiting for infinite T_T
they skipped right cos I think it should be infinite than apink
Apparently they needed to skip an episode to catch up more to the on time airing. Instead of being 3 episodes behind, they wanted to be two. It just so happened that Infinite's episode was that episode to be skipped
Taegyun's shirt is fab!
-KØBENHAVER FOR LIFE!
Hahah... I'm living in Denmark and I'm really happy. Finally our little country is getting recognized ;D
Well it's not that popular. I only know 3 persons who likes kpop. I think there's about 300 people who knows about kpop :/ so that's not that much.
Hara Attaii jeg er også fra Danmark :D
jeg er fra Esbjerg :D
Jeg er fra Kbh :3
I FEEL YOU #2!
am curious of what u look like .. coz am Filipino.. but some says i look like Chinese, sometimes Vietnamese.. i wonder y?
I'm black and I love it. I really want to go to South Korea one day and I hope to not experience bigotry there.
If bomi was there. She would've wiggled with them
Now I am korean and I know the fact that some south koreans are racist, but most of them are just ignorant.
English is my second language :P
actually your english is perfect. I thought you were english or korean american
Aylo exo Thanks for your kind words xD
OMG Its written København on Chanu's shirt!! He must have visited Denmark :D Thumbs up if you're danish
This concern should have won 1st place.
i would get divorced, my opinion.
I feel ya. His excuses were lame. If he couldnt stand dirty things, why didnt he just go and clean it himself? 😬 Does he think his urine has cleaning effect? grr I felt bad for his family. If I were them id lock him up in a room until he sober up and let him clean everything himself 😬😬😬
The 2nd guy's unnie looks like Naeun. lol I wonder if Eunji and Hayeong thought so too?
I'm getting annoyed of the way they skipping episodes and I was crying at the 2nd concern even though he was a foreigner why would u treat him like that, that's one reason I'm scared to go to Korea but I'm still going, people are meant to be treated equally and Eunji is sooo beautiful.... It was cute when lee San gun was crying I love WIGGLE WIGGLE I honestly don't find it disgusting maybe if I was the audience I probably will or not 😂❤
come to Philippines, lol Filipino loves foreigner.. 😀
thats right ,weve known us(filipino) a hospitable person
To guy of second concern Jeonguk, I really feel bad that he is treated like that even though he was actually born in Korea, but I'm glad he was able to talk about these issues on Hello Counselor, there are still a lot of things in S. Korea that need to change, but I truly believe things are getting better, can't let a few uneducated people bring the entire country down. He has very amazing look, and his hair is absolutely amazing. I think after this airing episode, he won't suffer as much as he did before.
Second concern made me cry, it's so heartbreaking to see people being bullied by looking darker in complexion... D:
eunji hwaiting
YES the Wiggle Brothers and the Apink mother and daughter
The last guy was seriously so great, what a bright personality. I'd follow him on insta
the second concern made me cry. especially when the mom and sister started to cry
i need more apink in my life
For second concern, I don't get why people treat him as a foreigner.
I know not all people are like that but I'm actually afraid of travelling by myself to Korea after this /____\
They want to make it seem like no koreans are brown skinned .he doesn't even look indian.
This is the first time I’m hearing my country’s name on this show Pakistan 🇵🇰 ❤
Wow I think this one of the times I'm here early
Check out EUNJI and VIXX N new tv drama Cheer Up teaser!!! ❤️❤️
Ahh so many memories .. apink was the peak gg back then
I cryyy to the second concern :( he's such a good person why anybody make fun on him?? i wish he will has a date soon........ i reallly hate the nampyeon first concern!!! Why dont he stop drinking!! and the owner in third concern is hilarious !!! cant stop laughing!
FINALLY IVE BEEN WAITING
Having puffy hair and tanned skin doesn't equal black person.
i was thinking of visiting Korea but i'm afraid now
The second concern shows there are many mean guys in Korea. We, foreigners love Korea & your people so much, but it is sad to see how many Koreans ill treat a foreign like guy.
song yeonggil and lee sanghun at the start killed me XD
Yo when he stuck the pen in his hair and he bowed omg I felt super sad ahhhh I hope you can get better dude :)
I don't know why but especially for the second concern, I think of Yann Arthus-Bertrand and his new movie called "HUMAN".
I felt really bad for the guy on the second concern, right now I wish him to be happy
Apink
Guys don't watch the first concern when you're eating...
Ohhh my god, the last concern was absolutely hilarious! I wish he had an Instagram account :D
Don't cry Hayoung!
The last concern is why I don't want to introduce parents to social media. The man is hilarious XD
