Regarding Guitar Hero skills, I played GH3 with a pick and it taught me how to play fast. 5 stars on Knights of Cydonia gave me a surprising amount of control that translated to the actual instrument.
just my 2 cents on retro handhelds, i suggest getting one that also has at least one analog stick. there are many games that for me are way more comfortable to play when i can map the d-pad to the left stick. been having a great time with my anbernic 40xxH
also relating to retro handhelds, for my money NOTHING beats the vita d-pad. if you've got one lying around, using it for stuff like GBA/SNES is really really nice, especially on the OLED model.

1:40:00 Regarding FF7 Rebirth....you missed a MASSIVE factor in your analysis here. The PC game came out with a HUGE discount day 1. 30% off pre order on steam. This is not how PS had ported its games over to PC in the past and its obviously going to make a difference. I'd argue it makes such a huge difference that your entire analysis in this section can be thrown out. You've talked a ton of how big a difference $10.00 can make on game purchasing decisions...this is a minimum of $30.00 cheaper (Canadian) and Steam isn't even the cheapest place you can pick up the game on PC.
Flat screen has nothing to do with it being compatible with light guns. Standard or SD tvs works with light guns no matter the shape of the screen. High Definition or HD won't work with light guns because of it running at 100hz instead of 60hz, its too fast for the gun to register.

I think Shawn needs to put the word CHAPTERS above the list. Then RUclips can parse it as video timestamps on the player.
