this video is so grossly underrated, i keep coming back to watch it again. the universe is so incredible.
SAME HERE
Imagine getting to see The One who created it?
If you think about it, the universe would be incredibly boring if it weren't for intelligent life being able to appreciate it.
Humans are awesome. Prove we wrong, aliens!
Incredible.
If you haven’t, go check out Wylies other video _To Scale_ it is equally amazing
I don't remember when I've seen a more inspiring video! Made me cry.
De esas irrupciones de Eternidad como diría Kierkegaard.
ya no me averguenza el haber llorado tambien,,,,
Thank you for bring me here Darin.
Still makes me cry. I still show new people this video. Like he said there is something unifying here. We're all just people happily amazed at what is before us. Just the moon.. yet wow.

What a good samaritan! A person that motivates others over science is what we need in this life!
Tommy Beauchene hahaha Amen.
God first, whom created 'science'.. is what we need.
@@museluvr god doesn't exist
I was so absorbed in my routine life, that I forgot I was alive. Thanks for this beatiful irruption.
Damn what a quote 😥
I busted out crying at the end. All this hate between us and worrying about being perfect to society, but when saw the moon, at that moment they realized the world is bigger than our little world in our minds. This is the best example of all being equal. How at the end, are feelings towards this mysterious world are the same.
Beautifully said, friend 🙌
Your feelings are not far off than what the astronauts call the "overview effect".. it's when they look at the earth from the space stations above..they feel unifying sense of awe
Go check it out, I can't properly explain it in words better than them
As someone who is obsessed with the moon, i'm tearing up just at people's reactions.
Sincerelyy Eccentric ;)

Gets me every time

I wish this video had more views... I wish more people had had the oppertunity to look thru your scope... Thankyou for helping people be inspired and to dream, great job !!
I haven’t had my telescope out in years. I’m going to set it up.
I know this is 4 years ago but I hope you did
This made me cry tears of pure joy. Thank you. ❤
What's dope about this is you are doing it in light polluted city's where people don't even look up or have a serious passion for the universe. You are doing a great service to city dwelling humans.
Dude, that's an awesome gift to randomly hand out!!!
Why do I have tears....
This literally can't be liked enough. Thank you...
I cried a lot with this video.
Now I want a telescope
Kudos to the video maker for going from the piano to the orchestrated version. Classic move.
If you take the time to look, you'll never loose your sense of wonder. What an inspiration !
This is just so touching and I don't even know why I wanna cry
I'm saving up for a telescope, but I've been using my binoculars to look a the moon, and a few of the obvious constellations. It's really amazing how much more there is to see of something like the moon, that we all see daily and never think about, if you just take the time to look.
so inspiring and touching that i am tearing up at their reactions, i want to buy a telescope now
Is it weird that things like this, space, brings a tear to my eye? Like, maybe the emotion of knowing ill never be able to go into the endless void and explore it myself fills me with such sadness, and then to see the moon in such detail is so amazing, even if it is just our satellite, only a stones throw away in a cosmic sense
Always love the “oh wow” or “OMG” comments when people look through my telescope.
It's an amazing feel when people care about things like this
Love this video. I watch it quite often. Never gets old.
Probably the best video on RUclips
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
In the name of the past, present and future Human Kind: THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
Greetings from 🇲🇽
I will share it ASAP...
Playing Claude Debussy's beautiful composition Clair de Lune, which when translated from French is Moonlight. Very fitting for this video!
I have a telescope and I pointed it at the moon out of curiosity and I was so taken back. It was amazing
Made us cry too. Thank you so much.
Tears of awe and wonder watching this video. Only wishing for us all to get along and learn to appreciate our position and circumstance in the universe.
How many of you came here after Chalachitra talkies . . ?
One of the best videos i have ever watched. And Clair de lune in the background makes it just amazing.
14 people are so unhappy with their own lives they thumbs downed this amazing and inspiring video. I feel for them.

this video made my heart so happy idk why
How does this only have 100k views? This is one of those videos that should be at 100 million, if not more.
Not a day goes by where I'm not thinking about Clair De Lune and you chose it in your beautiful video about the moon. Thank you :-)
wow, this actually made me tear up man, great stuff. subbed
I cried. Please consider uploading this to tiktok if you haven't already. There's no doubt it'll explode and get the views it deserves. What a beautiful video.
I'm so glad they appreciate it more! Looking at the moon makes me happy. :)
Inspiration. 99.99% of why we wanted to go to the moon. 1000% why we should go back and beyond!
We went because we wanted to do that the Capitalist system is better than the Communist system.
this 3 minute video is life changing... wow
Thats a video that many people should have seen...
Une des plus belles vidéos de RUclips, je ne m'en lasse pas ❤️
Simply beautiful and so touching.

Beautiful
Every school in the country should have a telescope like that ..wouldn’t that be awesome ?
Why I am crying?
i think its wondrous how such riches, goods and assets are sought for so desperately but it's truly these miraculous interactions that are absolutely sensational and majestic in life.
My god how wonderful.
Today I was zooming in on the moon with my camera lol, loved it ;p

This made me cry 😭😭
Inspiring and heartwarming video. I have thumbs up and have shared! So wonderful...
"The moon is a loyal companion.
It never leaves.
It’s always there, watching, steadfast, knowing us in our light and dark moments, changing forever just as we do.
Every day it’s a different version of itself.
Sometimes weak and wan, sometimes strong and full of light.
The moon understands what it means to be human.
Uncertain.
Alone.
Cratered by imperfections."
― Tahereh Mafi, Shatter Me
Now that was a nice complement
🔥
Ooff this hits hard
Amazing and inspiring! Thank you! :)
I remember how I was awestruck as well ten years ago when I saw moon through a telescope.
Love this video! Love the reactions and really found the music just perfect. Keep on Mr. Overstreet!!
I would spend hours watching these reactions.
this is beautiful

Excellent in every way. I just purchased a 12" Dobsonian, same type of telescope, but must wait a few weeks for delivery. They call such scopes 'light buckets' because that's what they do...scoop buckets of photons, most of them scores of years old, but many millions of years old. Then, they focus those photons down to where they fit through the aperture of your iris. Magnificent views!
Just wonderful
I live people's smiles.
I had a small telescope when i was a kid. My parents used to have to peel me away from it because i would stay up all night looking at the moon. I love this.
Beautiful...
...thanks.
this is beautiful!!
Man! What a beautiful video
Music choice is perfect, by name and song
Looking at the moon through a good telescope is a life changing experience.
Круто! И народ такой весь на позитиве!
🌙 just awesome.
Love this.
I love space and I love seeing peoples reaction to space
Looking at the moon is really amazing through binoculars too, especially if you get ones that can mount on a cheap camera tripod.
Lovely video
Wow so inspiring ❤
the kids reaction is priceless
we all really on this wet mudball together
made me cryyyy aaaaa
Just awesome ..... What an inspiring video
Awesome.. Astronomy and Astrophotography are sadly so underrated
The melody/song in the background is CLAIR DE LUNE by CLAUDE DEBUSSY.
When I got a telescope "Oh my god" was my first reaction when I looked at the moon through it
It really is a powerful feeling.
What a masterpiece of turning people on
Completely amazing
Needed this!
Great video, thank you.
*is awesome* 👍
Beautiful video.
I'm moved
My next door neighbour has a telescope bigger than that one in the video and I was blown away when he let me see Venus transit over the sun. It was an incredible sight to behold.
Really feel good
This is a Sky-Watcher Dobsonian collapsible telescope.
Do you know which size it is? I want one, right now.
Thank you. I was wondering what it was.
Looks to be the 12-inch Sky-Watcher model.
