- SOS repair mechanism (also known as the SOS response) - This lecture explains about the process of SOS repair system that includes the details of SOS operon and how sos response works for error prone and error free DNA repair system. This lecture also explains about recA and lex protein and how rec operon regulates SOS operon system. This SOS response is going to allow error prone DNA repair.
Stay tuned to know more about SOS repair mechanism.

Thank you for watching the video lecture on SOS repair mechanism.
Thank you for the amazing lecture. May god bless you to make more and more lectures and let you help poor students with an easy and simple way of explanation of all the biology topics.
Thank you so much for appreciating my efforts. Glad to hear that you're getting benefit from my lectures
I really need a clear idea about this repair mechanism & I finally get it..... .....Thanku so much sir..☺
Glad to hear that you are getting benefit from the videos
I needed this at this time! Thank you Sir!
You're welcome
Aap bhot ache se smjate h superb
Thank you
Well done!!
Please try making animated videos if possible..
Sir , you have written DNA pol 3 in error prone repair(last slide) but error rate is very less for this polymerase .. there is polymerase 5 which induce translesion synthesis which have low fidelity and error rate is higher than that of polymerase 3 ... Please check it sir..
It's polymerase 5 more probably.
Yours videos are always helpful sir
Thanks sir I am require this vedio at this time
Glad to help you out
Thanks a lot Sir very helpful 😊
You're welcome
Its really helpful

Thank you so much for this

Hii sir, Thank u for the detailed and informative review.
1. How REC A protein cleaves the LEX A repressor..??
2. Is mutation in REC A gene lethal for cell..??
These statements were being asked in the csir exam..
So will you plz answer it sir..
Thanku so much sir🙂
You're welcome
Very helpful😊
You're welcome
Find always helpful...
Thank you
Why happens if occurs mutation in SOS respornse
Liked it..
You're welcome
What is Production of effector T cell ?
Please check my immunology video series
Sir Maine bsc biotechnology se Kiya h to MSc konse subject se kruu jisme scop ache ho like microbiology immunology ya biotechnology se hi konsa better rhega plzzzz sir reply meeee plzzzzz
Very good question am also wana to know
Thanks But sir ne reply nhi kiya Mr. imran ahmad
Yes am sure sir reply as soon 👍
Imran Ahmad aap kya krte h kya aapne bhi biotechnology se graduation Kiya h ?
Am 2nd year student from kanpur University and you
sir me apka bohot bora fan hooo....sir me tripura se ho ...me BSC in human Physiology se ho..sir me infuture medical college ka proffesor bonna chahata ho....eski liye mujhe keya korna porega????? plzzz sir....
Do msc in same subject. Then clear csir net jrf and with ls apply in different universities. And for permanent work as lecturer you may need to complete your PhD degree.
👍👍👍👍
You're welcome
