  • Sky News Northern Australia Correspondent Matt Cunningham says the youth curfew in Alice Springs has been “well received across the board”.
The region's recent wave of youth crime had culminated in a 20-day curfew to be imposed by the territory's Chief Minister Eva Lawler following a day of mass rioting.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese talked positively about the step made by the NT government.
“It really has provided that circuit breaker,” Mr Albanese said.
“Just like last year, the decision that was made about alcohol was positive as well.”
