thanks! Sir Lew Grade. Please ! Anderson Entertainment make the Supercar episodes in color in memory of the Supermarionation creative due of Gerry And Sylvia Anderson. It,s one of my all time classic favorites.
Even though it was made in 1960, I VAGUELY remember that it came to America in the early 60's when I was VERY young. This was the beginning of my fascination with the Anderson series.
As a young child, I desperately wanted to fly a machine like Supercar. Nowadays I fly a helicopter for fun. That young child was right. It is SUCH FUN.
Yes,things could have been different if Supercar wasn't around. We might have had Fabferry or something else! Doesn't have the same ring to it,does it? Good primer.👍👍😋😎
Imagine if Lew Grade hadn't stepped in? No Gerry Anderson shows. We guess we've got a lot to thank Lew for!
Didn’t he get rid of George Sewell???
SUPERCAR that's when all Anderson series had me hooked
Oh, how this makes me remember being 8 years old - watching it all wide eyed & terrified of Masterspy!

Lord Grade, who died in 1998, was one of the most powerful figures in British show business. Rest in peace, Lew.

I suspect that episode of Endeavour was more accurate than they liked.
Wasn't it based on Jules Verne"s "Master of the World "?
Masterspy looks like the Hood and why is the villain always the fat guy? I'm fat but I'm nice.
Masterspy is egg shaped, not fat.
Because both villains were based on Sidney Greenstreet
I wonder how much it would cost to make in today's money?
Just under a million
