[STOCKHOLM] - Swedish Emergency Ambulances & Intensive Care Unit Responding lights & siren!

- Seen here are various types of Ambulances (Volkswagen T5 / Mercedes Vito & Sprinter) responding in the City of Stockholm, Sweden. An extremely rare catch is the Intensive Care Ambulance Bus (Intensivvårdsambulans) responding code 3 from the window of my hotel. There are only very few videos of this rig online.

Kid: What is your job?
Paramedic/bus driver: It’s complicated
Stockholm County now has 3 MICU-buses (Mobile Intensive Care Unit). They are rarely seen and even more rare to be seen responding.
Just imagine driving a ambulance in tight situations now you’re driving a F-ing bus
Michael Gifford Yeah imagine driving an ambulance bus with all the equipment..... even harder....Which route do you take the same as everyone else or the bus lane.
@@MxssDxnutzGxmingOfficial Usually emergency vehicles use the bus lane here, mostly when there's traffic and the bus lane is available, or they just use it while responding. I've also seen most ambulances use it without any emergency equipment activated.
So cool watching all these emergency vehicles 🚓🚑🚒
luv the bus ambulance the best, great catch
I didn't know we have ambulance busses.. It looks great
The intensive care unit are rare used. It has to be a special case when people cant use the regular ambulances.
- Å fan!
That’s a big ambulance...
Good Video! The catch is awesome!! Greetings from Hungary!!! 🚑🚑😀
Thank you! :)
Great catch man!
Thank you! :)
Bus ambulance: Im bigger then all small ambulances
I knew I could count on you (and Tim?) to get lots of catches of these beautiful ambulances! Well done :)
Timur was unfortunately not available at this specific moment, when I caught the ICU-Bus :( But we got, of course, tons of great catches together :D Thanks for watching! ;)
Oh yes he told me about that rather... "shitty" moment. I still can't believe it actually happened to him after we joked about it so many times haha
Sehr Schickes Video!
Total krasse Fahrzeuge dabei, devenetiv Like!😉👍
Dankeschön! :)
That ICU looks great!
It's the newest in traffic, however, soon this one are "old" when they put their newest ICU out in traffic.
Klasse Aufnahmen, dieser ITW - SUPER!
Dankeschön! :)
"Glück gehabt" das der ITW nicht etwas früher den Abbruch bekommen hat. Schönes Video!
Doppeltes Glück sogar, weil er erst kurz vor der Kreuzung Horn angemacht hat... 😅
What happened to need that huge bus ambulance
It’s at 2:04
It's for transfering intensive-care-patients from one ICU to another.
Well i hope her phone call (the driver) was just as important as the use of that "intensive care bus"...........?
louis barnes The call is probably not personal. If it is then the driver is stupid.
I think the call was cancelling the emergency as a the blues were switched off at that time
@@kevint7072 Radios for communication was an awesome invention for use in the emergency services, especially when you have a member to assist you sat with you??? Still no need even if the blue call was cancelled.
Imagine that phone call to a paramedics family......................?
I like the "bus" ambulance
Shouldn't it be a "Busulance" or something? =D
@@nekotranslates Yeah, that 's great idea :)). "Busulance" is the new concept
@@nekotranslates ambuslance
Those VW medic units look like BUGS with that weird streamline look.
Nice
Awesome video!
Thank you! :)
The wheels on the ambulance bus go round and round
Great nice video!
Thank you! :)
:D) Danke dir! :)
Great vid
Thanks! :)
New MB Sprinter
Nice video :)
As a Paramedic sitting in a CCT ambulance, I'd really like to know more about that bus. Any idea where I could read up on it?
Victor Sebens here are a link to the official Stockholm Region website about the three MICU buses in Stockholm county, and also a link to the organization of the prehospital care in Stockholm county
It’s in Swedish unfortunately but just feel free to ask any questions if google translate let’s you down 🙂

These sound a lot (or exactly?) like the ambulance sirens here in Finland. Wonder if it's the same exact siren/manufacturer.
Indeed. I think two-tone sirens in Finland have a slightly deeper tone but the yelp is pretty much the same :)
Oj har aldrig sett ambulans buss för
Nice compilation. First time I've seen the new format Swedish car plates. What does the H light mean on the ambulance? Best wishes from an Australian paramedic.
Thank you! I'm not quite sure what it means, maybe it's just a fun detail. Health is in swedish "Hälsa" so maybe the H stands for this.
What do you mean exactly? Do you mean white light bar that flashes on ambulance? If so then that is for attention. Every time a ambulance has it's siren and blue lights on this light bar will flash. But once ambulance turns it's blue lights and siren off the white bar turns off as well. So it's an attention thing, so make people in cars look back when it comes. Since some times people don't see the blue lights but they see white bar instead.
Update: I see what you mean now. Never seen that before. Saw it at 0:12 on middle light.
The dashlight on the first ambo is just pathetic..
Most them are like that...
It’s either that or the high beam lights flashing
Grow up
Why dont we call it an Ambubus?

What was the emergency?
Every Vehicel is from Germany exept for the bus i couldnt see which Company construcktet the bus
Looks like it was made in Finland by a Finnish company called Kiitokori
www.kiitokori.fi/en/healthcare-vehicles
Bus is based on a Scania since it says scania on front between two blue lights. But it seems a finish company has customised it into a ambulance bus.
@@Maakari2 those have only taken a scania bus and change it into a ambulance bus. They have not built bus themselves, bus was first built by a Swedish company named scania.
Where should the bus go to?
The bus transports people needing intensive medical care from one hospital to another.
Bus is built in a way to transport special patients with lots of machines and that they can do some procedures on the way as well, so it's like a moving hospital. While they move patient from 1 hospital to another.
They look so small. But I want to have this yelp 🚨 in Germany
Was aus Luxemburg wäre geil
Nice 👍
2:10 she on her phone? is that legal?
That driver is speaking over a radio or something i bet. It's legal for emergency unit to use radio communication or so when driving as long it's important and about their call to some where. But if they are driving normal with no lights and such. Then it's illegal to use any phone or communication when driving.
