When i first moved into my house, i seen them, turns to find out they came from the neighbors. I treated my home and never had them since. Im very clean and ocd. My neighbors are still messy and dirty
@dearjosieb Really I haven't ran into it yet but then again I haven't lived here that long 5 years and apartment living 1 year before buying a house. The ants are a hot mess or maybe it's the foundation and the way the house was built.
Get some diatomaceous earth and put it down. Get the edible kind so ya don’t have to worry about the kids messing with it. It’s a powder. Put it in the corners and/or in different areas. It’s great for them damn insects. I use to use the acid when my kids were young like yours and had to hide it deep in things the kids didn’t have access to.
When I lived in Georgia they called them tree roaches. Moved to Texas (biggest damn bug I ever seen), but they come from outside in the house. Like “water bugs”. Thankful they ain’t that German roach from the hood that keeps multiplying. Just have to pay for pest control 3x times a year. I don’t play bout my kids and bugs. But like she say it’s Texas yall. 🤷🏽♀️😩
I don't think that works Jazzy ,I always clean up with clorox and Lysol and them roaches keep coming back especially in the kitchen,when I start cooking they comes out the stove,then i start cleaning the counter with clorox but they keep coming back
Jazzy's video mentions both cleaning and treatments in her home for pests will deter roaches. Overall, pests like flying insects (especially mosquitoes) will become more prevalent in Texas Gulf Coast as summer approaches. I'm in Houston, and they breed in the trees and soil. Austin is referred to Hill Country and is full of thick lush trees.
So is roaches common in Texas? I live in Chicago and those who have roaches usually live in the projects and nasty house. I know down south those bugs be different than the north. Glad you’re getting it together before summer comes
I also live in Chicago and although I don’t have roaches that’s just not true, your neighbors can bring on roaches and even tho your house is clean you can get them!

I live in San Antonio Texas and no roaches are not common here, but what is common are ants!

roaches come from contact paper, paper bags and cardboard boxes also

Hey jazz, you can use peppermint essential oil. That.keep roaches away it works great. Also it keep spider away too.

Summer is approaching fast in Texas, everything coming out. Roaches, spiders, ants, and so on pest control a big business in Texas.
