    Correction 16:20: Attach the motor using M3x20 and M3x6, not M3x10.

    The Supersprint is definitely an upgrade to the already excellent M-Jet Sprint. Glueing has become easier, more robust hull, upgraded motor and many more details that add to the overall package. Documentation is excellent too. Highly recommended build and worth every cent.
    Thanks for supplying it as an upgrade without further costs - 2 for 1. Currently repairing my M-Jet and waiting for parts for Supersprint.

    the first seal is maybe i little wrong from orientation. these seals are meant to orientated with the open side to the liquid what it should hold back. in this case any pressure from the liquid force the seal tighter to the shaft.

    • @mjetdevelopment
      @mjetdevelopment  8 месяцев назад +2

      Yes you are technically right. But here the pressure is so low that the orientation does not matter, the spring is what makes the seal tight. Then I prefer to protect the spring by facing it inside.

      Be careful with thread locker when used with plastics. It can attack many of the common 3D printing plastics.

    Building my super sprint now. It's sweet! What was this hill printed out of? I printed mine and in PLA plus. I printed the first two sections before reading your print settings. I think I have six wall perimeters, but not cubic info and only 15% infill. Do you think it will be strong enough or should I reprint it?

    • @mjetdevelopment
      @mjetdevelopment  7 месяцев назад +1

      Nice! There is no need to reprint it, your print will be strong enough and infill is not that important.

    Awesome I want to do one for my kid ! Do you think if I double up the scale it will push an electric surfboard ??

    • @mjetdevelopment
      @mjetdevelopment  3 месяца назад

      So there are many problems arising if you attempt to change scale of any M-Jet design.
      All fastener sizes, bearings, shafts, seals, motor mount, servo mount all become incompatible, possibly generating impossible requirements for dimensions of these parts. Solving this requires a lot of additional effort.
      Secondly, the Supersprint pump is 30mm. A single 60mm pump will still not be enough powerful to push an electric surfboard. This is the case with the M-Jet 60 - two of them need to be used to power a surfboard reliably.

    In the Supersprint manual under the "Designer's Choice" table, the battery that is listed (Turnigy Graphene 6s 1200mAh 75C) comes with an XT60 connector. The listed ESC (Flycolor 90A) comes with an XT90 connector. Can we get some clarification on this please? Are you using an adapter to go down to XT60 to XT90? if so why not spec the 70A model of ESC that comes with XT60 already?

    • @mjetdevelopment
      @mjetdevelopment  4 месяца назад

      I did not mention any connectors in the manual, because all kinds of electronics come with all different kinds of connectors, and it is up to you which one you decide to use. Then you need to desolder some and change them for your selected ones.
      Adapters can be used, I personally don't like them because they take space and add weight. I like to put XT60 on everything, and I would recommend XT60 for your Supersprint, too.
      Why I used Flycolor 90A instead of 70A - they were almost the same price so why not, factory connector is not important to me because I can desolder it.
      Note - when doing any soldering on the battery, be very careful to never ever cause a short circuit. Once I attempted to cut both battery wires at the same time and burned myself. Anyway it's probably better to avoid soldering on the battery if you aren't 100% sure.

      Supersprint does 6s. But if you want larger, take a look at the Ragnarok, which has 550mm:

    Could I use a 3s 5000mah 45c lipo battery on a 3660, 2600kv motor with a 90amp esc?

    • @mjetdevelopment
      @mjetdevelopment  5 месяцев назад

      Thanks!
      A 3660 2600kv motor on 3s would result in approximately 108 amps on full throttle. The 90A ESC might hold up but I would not call that a safe setup. To stay under 90A, you need 2400KV motor or less on 3S.
      The 5000mAh battery is far too big. Recommended 3S battery is 2600mAh, the biggest that might somehow fit could be 4000mAh but thats the complete limit I would go for. Also depends on the dimensions of the particular battery.
      There is a lot more information in the Supersprint manual:

    • @mjetdevelopment
      @mjetdevelopment  4 месяца назад

      @@jamesdyck7825 Yes, the 3670 motor is very big but still will barely fit the Supersprint. 2280KV on 3S with 90A ESC is ok.

      @@mjetdevelopment thanks again, trying to figure out the math...I could use the 3670 2280kv motor with a 4000mah 45c 3s lipo on a 90amp esc? Even though the 3670 motor is rated at 1600 watts when the 3660 is rated at 1200 watts. I don't know how the lower KV affects amps draw, but I understand a longer motor could increase amp draw?

      If you try to keep the prices low and buy from aliexpress for example, this is around what you can buy it for:
      90€ motor+ESC+servo
      30€ battery
      50€ transmitter+receiver
      Obviously if you choose local resellers or different brands it gets more expensive, sometimes you get what you pay for

    Is there a difference between the pump in this video and the m35? Is the m35 included in the supersprint download?

    • @mjetdevelopment
      @mjetdevelopment  7 месяцев назад

      The Supersprint's pump is smaller. It is based on the M-Jet 35, but it is scaled down and modified purposedly for the Supersprint.
      The Supersprint files include the Supersprint's own pump, they do not include the M-Jet 35.

    So for those of us that don’t have a 3d printer how can we buy these parts 👍

    • @mjetdevelopment
      @mjetdevelopment  5 месяцев назад +1

      I dont recommend trying to build the Supersprint without having access to a 3D printer. You could buy the files and ask a company to print them, but then you cant make spare parts or modifications easily and the whole order might be almost as expensive as buying a cheap printer (200 USD).
      Sometimes people sell their boats in the M-Jet facebook group, link is in the description of the video.
      But overall, this is just a project designed for makers with 3D printers. My best honest suggestion would be to consider getting one - it can be a game changer.
