This one of my favorite videos yet.....I would've taken the fish innards curry instead of the mackerel, but that's just me. Got my jar of shrimp paste today and want to do that dipping sauce with the lime juice and chilis. Glad I waited for the last minute with your favorite dog.....that really made my day.

We used to live in Ratchadapisek soi 3(behind fortune tower) there were lot of food and one southern Thai food was very popular not sure if everything still there so fingers crossed 😊

Oooooh. My best experience (so far) with these aluminium pots at little stalls was at Nathon night market on Samui. I point at a REALLY delicious looking curry, and in my broken Thai ask the proprietor "An-ni - Gai mai khrap?" She puts on her sweetest smile and, in English, says "No. Frog." Obviously I *had* to have it. Frog curry. Why not? Was burn-your-mouth hot, and the bones from the chopped-up frog were very fiddly. But, very tasty.
Your knowledge of Thai food is exceptional 👏, put me to shame but my excuse is I've been living in the UK forty eight years now! So it's so good that you're educating me. Very enjoyable vlog as always 🙏

She finds it so endearing, as most Thais do, for the effort you put in. ONLY one mistake you made on this clip, when Pa Porn said, "Nong Sao tum eng" and you interpreted as her daughter made the chili dip from scratch, instead of her SISTER. NONG Sao = YOUNGER Sister. LOOG Sao = Daughter. NONG CHAAI = Younger brother, Pii Chaai = OLDER brother, and so on so forth. Other than this, the presentation for this clip is 9/10. Well done!! 👍☮🤍

It looks a nice area, I was thinking of living around the Thong lor Ekkamai area if me and my daughter come and live in Bangkok.

If you are heading to Southern privinces, Southern Thai Food, genuine ones, will be available in every bus stop. Would like to recommend that you should have one curry at a time with Moo Waan, Palo or whatsoever. Otherwise, the taste of typical curry will be distorted. Real Southern Thai Food will go with a ton of fresh vegetable and Nam Prik (FOC) as an accessory. It is legend!

That coffee also sounds nice love the small coffee shop in Thailand they seem do fabulous coffee I think may be Thai people are so passionate about what they do, plus Thai coffee beans one my favs. 85B gosh that would be £3.85 in costa plus bad service with no passion , moaning about how shit their life is... It looks a nice area, I was thinking of living around the Thong lor Ekkamai area if me and my daughter come and live in Bangkok.
