I couldn't even pass the first seasson, all the episodes were kinda repetitive with Omega getting lost or in trouble and then Hunter and the guys saver her and that's it.
As yes a 90+ minute movie in the big screen with the majority of screentime dedicated to saving Jabba the Hut's son, brilliant. I wonder why people hate it

The movie is also the catalyst for some good episodes down the line like Assassin, Hostage Crisis and Hunt for Ziro. I see it as part of the show, not a standalone movie
I agree, I certainly enjoyed it, especially getting to see grogu’s backstory. It was certainly not nearly on the same level as the previous two seasons, but I think the hate is more of a disappointment that it didn’t live to the hype left from the season 2 finale than anything else. I watched 'Kenobi" and it made me cancel my subscription to Disney+. The story glazing over Reva and making Obi Wan dimwitted for the most part pissed me off to the point that I couldn't watch another series based on Star Wars.

I wasn’t a kid when I watched it so from my point of view it’s pretty overrated. Was worth one watch for the Vader and Ahsoka scenes. Love the Vader one liners. Vader: “Then you will die braver than most.” Whale boy: visibly messes in his pants. Vader: “perhaps I was wrong”.

I mean the backstory of the menacing Darth Vader is someone like that would ruin his image. However that portrayal is set by Lucas himself for Hayden to play like that. TPM to me is held back some thanks to Jar Jar and *a little* to kid Anakin, though I blame more the writing and direction than anything. It still gave us plenty of good moments and meme material. AotC is held practically by the memes, cause otherwise it’s boring. Writing and direction was technically worse in a lot of places, but meme-worthy. RotS is definitely the GOAT alongside TESB. The best part to come (save for RotS, of course) was the expansions of the story through novels and comics, so at least some good came out of it.
The prequels are still bad I'm disappointed that people think it's amazing because the stupid things that happen in it make people believe certain things are acceptable in storytelling when they aren't. "The acting is supposed to be cheesy and horrible" "the jedi are supposed to be stupid duh" "the emperors plan is supposed to be nonsensical" "the romance is supposed to be awkward and creepy"
The first six: the phantom menace, attack of the clones, revenge of the sith, a new hope, the empire strikes back, and the return of the Jedi were perfect just perfect and fun to watch

No Honestly Star Wars Rebels is really good. I am a crazy Clone Wars fans who saw 3 times the movie in 2008, having all blue ray, saw it in streaming in the oooold days. Season 1 / Season 1 Season 2 / Season 1 Season 2 Season 3.... so saw it lot of times xD) BUT I feel at the end that Rebels is better in terms of writing and series (Season 7 came) but at the end Rebels is better, less fun and joy-able than clone wars. It s like Andor, Andor is a better series than Mandalorian, but Mandalorian is so cool and fun that I prefer to rewatch Mando than Andor.

@aarons6935 The Force Awakens just recycles the plot of A New Hope, only with none of the charm and interesting characters. It undid Han's character arc from the Original Trilogy and killed him off in the worst and most humiliating way possible. Also ruining Luke Skywalker long before Rian Johnson got his hands on him and turned him into a coward that ran away from everything and everyone he loved and did nothing to help the resistance against the rise of the First Order. Yes, of the 3 movies, it is arguably the most tolerable, but it is still an abomination just like the other 2.

It s like Andor, Andor is a better series than Mandalorian, but Mandalorian is so cool and fun that I prefer to rewatch Mando than Andor.
Almost everything is perfectly accurate. But Episode 8 is absolutely garbage too

@aarons6935 The Force Awakens just recycles the plot of A New Hope, only with none of the charm and interesting characters. It undid Han's character arc from the Original Trilogy and killed him off in the worst and most humiliating way possible. Also ruining Luke Skywalker long before Rian Johnson got his hands on him and turned him into a coward that ran away from everything and everyone he loved and did nothing to help the resistance against the rise of the First Order. Yes, of the 3 movies, it is arguably the most tolerable, but it is still an abomination just like the other 2.

I agree with most except madolorian s1-2 is nowhere near perfect and is very boring same with Andor, everything else was fine tho I would say Obi-Wan series gets an alright for me.
