The 30 album instantly went to my top 3 all time when it came out, with my favorite probably being To Be Loved. It’s just breathtaking and always makes me bawl like nothing else, but every. single. song. is incredible. Glad you listened to this!

I think that's what she's trying to say to her son when he's grown up. She started in the industry so young and had him fairly young and everything got out of her control. So the divorce was the first time she felt she could stop and do what was actually going to be best for all of them in the long run. Also, she's even better live than in studio 🥰

Obviously Adele is a legend and anything she puts out is phenomenal. I highly recommend what I consider to be one of the best covers of this song, by 15-year-old Angelina Jordan. It was done at Republic Records in her studio and she infuses emotion that you would not expect from a young woman her age.
I think this may be the first time I have never seen Judsong press a key on the piano during a reaction. Is that b/c it's your instrument and you didn't have to question what was being played? Great reaction as always. Keep up the good work.

If you like Adele and Amy Winehouse, you will probably like Angelina Jordan. I just left a comment on your "Back to Black" reaction because Angelina did a version of that song using her own original (i.e., rewritten) lyrics. She also covered this song by Adele (as well as other songs by both artists). She is quite young (about to turn 18), but has been in the public eye for about a decade, and has not sounded like a "child singer" for nearly that long. She has done literally hundreds of covers (a little over 200 at this point) spanning artists from the 1930s to "today", but it looks like you aren't really into reacting to covers, so you'd probably be more interested in her originals (mostly written with other songwriters, but some written solely by her). Her most popular original (by view count here on YT, anyway) is called "Million Miles", which she wrote a few years ago about her late grandfather. A close second is the first single from her latest EP, called "Love Don't Let Me Go" (that's the song - the EP is called _Old Enough_ ). That one would really make the connection to Adele and Amy very obvious. My own personal favorite from the EP is "Good in Goodbyes", which is only available in the form of a barely animated "visualizer", so it doesn't have nearly as many views as it should. Musically it is built around an extended sample from Millie Jackson's 1974 cover of "(If Loving You Is Wrong) I Don't Want to Be Right". All of these songs I'm referring to can be found on her official YT channel (Angelina Jordan Official). I'll just leave it there. You can pick just about anything she's ever done (original or cover), and there's a good chance you'll be impressed - or at least intrigued. I think she's well worth looking into.
I love great music and great singers that's why I keep suggesting a band named savatage take a listen to hall of the mountain King, gutter ballot, or Jesus saves great singing super great guitar work and piano all around some of the most underrated musicians ever
