I fish from the bank and my go to baits are in the same ballpark as you. I use a #5 in line spinner with a chartreuse tail and either a wacky rig or a shaky head in a 1/4 oz. Thanks for the info.
My thoughts are, they're either suspended or on the bottom. You covered both. I choose a swim jig and a Ned Rig. Does the same thing but, my Ned has the hook exposed. Lost too many fish on a Texas rigged bait. I'll pick the grass off thank you with an exposed hook. Plus, if I get hung in grass and rip it out, I'll get reaction bites. Good stuff!
