@@ianthurston I'm not sure of the new start date. Go to the Thai e-visa website, and fill out the field "Do I need a tourist visa?", put in your country and number of days staying and it will give you the current requirements, of what you need to do for your country.
Your video is misleading as the Thai government POSTPONED the new ETA system in September and that it will now start in June 2025. Do check out the official channels to ensure you get your facts right before presenting such a video. I'm visiting Thailand in January and had checked out the official status on this ETA but it's not even an issue!!
I'm travelling to Thailand with my family in early January. I've registered with the Thailand e-visa portal but there is nothing regarding the ETA mentioned in there only visas which we don't need. Nobody online seems to know what's going on. Is there going to be an App? What happens if we just turn up at the airport without it, then what?

In these early day and confusion, I think if we just turn up at the airport it will be okay. Just check on the e-visa portal, put your country in and it tells you what the current requirements are. Not problem!! This people want increase the tourists, but with their behavior they get the opposite result! Before taxes,new rules for visa ,new banking law! And so on , now ETA , is ridiculous!! In this country they are ridiculous!! For a one year visa you have each 90 days report ! I lived in Thailand for a while ,but now I went in another country!
I´m from the UK and flying to BKK in December. The Thai Visa site says I can travel without a visa still. I think the ETA launch has been delayed. Bloody Thailand! Always changing the feckin´ rules...

What if you are currently on a Multiple Entry Visa? Aren't you already approved for multiple entries during the time of its validity?
I would think so, check the Thailand visa site and details of the visas.
