I think the super smoke option is buried in the cook program option where you can create a new program and tell it to go one hour at one temp and then another temp the next hour, etc.
@@kevindowner766 i really wish they'd make that clear everywhere. i've searched too long for the answer. Even the manual mentions turning the dial to the (nonexistent) "SMOKE" setting
The best way to get a good, smokey flavor is to cook at low temperatures, for longer cooking times and use Hickory or Mesquite pellets. For optimal smoke, cook between 165° and 225°F. 🙌
Lucio Munoz A few forums report certain temp issues (I.e. swings) addressed by software updates... bought one a week ago... seeing 60 degree swing at lower temps... waiting in parts from Traeger...
How come it doesn’t have a smoke option
Came here to ask the same thing

No smoke setting. Have fun trying to cook a pork but or brisket at 165 degrees and the smoke you get is pathetic
Where’s the super smoke option?

I can’t seem to get mine to smoke. So does it only smoke at a low temp? What if I want to smoke at 250?

This would have been so much better without the music. How about a live person talking? Could not watch all the way through.
I watch the whole thing and was thinking the same thing. Have someone talking through the demonstration.
