- Tiger Woods holed a 24-foot birdie putt on the 72nd hole at Bay Hill Club & Lodge to edge Bart Bryant by a single shot in the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard.
Tiger Woods' chase for Sam Snead's record of 82 PGA TOUR wins began at the 1996 Las Vegas Invitational, his first TOUR win in just his fifth professional start. Over 20 years later Woods' excellence has seen him raise a trophy in six countries and 16 different American states.

The stillness and calmness of Arnold's face as he waits to see if Tiger's put goes in, is as if he just putted the ball. Look at the dudes next to him they don't have that focus and stillness that Arnold has. That You can take the golfing legend out of competition but you can't take the competition out of the golfing legend. My favorite moment in this video is Arnold warmly embracing Tiger and Tiger's big smile telling Arnold Thanks Buddy. I think that older people appreciate it when you address them like they're a peer. I removes the distance between their generations.
Only golfer in our lifetime that turned old men into cheering children.
Bart Bryant just shook his head in the scoring trailer after watching Tiger drain that putt on 18 🤣😂

We can debate all day long about WHO is the GOAT, Tiger or Jack, both well deserving of the title and well deserving to have fans argue their case.... but as far as WHO played the best Golf at ANY point in their careers??
Sorry, but that's where the debate ends. No person has EVER played the game better and more Dominant than Tiger Woods during the years from 1996 to 2009.
That Era of shear dominance from Tiger will likely NEVER be repeated.
That and his incredible knack of raising his game for the Biggest Moments, during the most PRESSURED situations.... 👏👏👏Yeah, I'm just glad I was around to witness the magical play of Tiger Woods.
