- You have to fight Dark Yoyimbo. You can fight him 4 times and
then return to save point at the back of the cavern : go into the
Blitzball menu and now you can fight him again.
Btw for people who have issue losing last attack count with Yojimbo to make sure last attack is 99999 or more when YoJi bend over after an attack that means he lost half of his life you have 7 99999 hits the last 8th hit is the killer hope this helps

I managed it today on PS4 within 8 minutes. I have a 120hz monitor with a 2.1 hdmi cable with game mode enabled.
All this helps with reducing input lag. Use the directional pad when racing, try to collect as many balloons as possible before you encounter the birds then just focus on dodging them. I hope this helps.
nowadays there's so many guides that could help for winning the chocobo race, thunder plains 200 lightning, and the butterfly catching, it's hard but you should be able to get finish all three within the 5 hours, it doesn't have to be 5 hours straight, take a break and cool yourself down once it gets stressful.

Always saved in two save slot for that reason

You can farm Luck sphere & remove below 4 and replace them with 4
Giving Yojimbo various combinations of fees containing 56 or multiple 56 combinations you will find brings out the Zanmato often. Most common amout is 56563 to which will work more often then not.
56563 is correct because it is cost efficient for Zanmato-ing superbosses. But it has nothing to do with '56' haha. It is based on the powers of 2.

with my stats maxed out, HP at 10K (9999) , this guy is easy to farm. I just dont have lulus ultimate weapon or wakkas :/
I’d definitely invest in getting wakkas even though blitzball is boring
Lulu’s was easier than Tidus tbh. I was able to knock out the lightning one on my second try. Wakka’s was a bit of a grind.. Easy but a huge grind
I never see myself fighting Dark Aeons i can barely get 6000 hp not to mention my attack for most of my characters are not this good

I mean, at this point of the game, there is no more purpose on getting special stuff for your gear, as you already deals 99999 on a single hit
It's more about getting armour with Ribbon on it. Otherwise, it's a pain to get. You get 99 Dark Matter for capturing 5 of every monster in Spira, that's the only easy one. Then it's accumulate 2 at a time randomly from monsters in the Battle Arena or 2 Dark Matter each time you beat Dark Yojimbo. Getting him to drop an armour with Ribbon saves countless hours.

@@Widderic yep but it's rare to get just ribbon and three open slots. Sometimes it's only two slots, or you have ribbon and curse proof on the armour. But at least if you grind long enough and don't get the armour you want you'll get 99 Dark Matter anyway.

I have 99 dark matter but i can't see ribbon in my costumization... Im playing original ff10 in ps2.
Ribbon only exists in the international and PAL versions of the game. Not NA I think

No. Ribbon always comes with either curseproof or bhpl. Either deal with the fact that it comes with bhpl or farm 99 dark matters from him

Galax1 Ink im talking about dark yojimbo. Some dark aeons may drop a ribbon armor with 3 empty slots but dark yojimbo doesnt. I defeated it like more than 50 times and never have even 1 armor drop with only ribbon. Dark bahamut, dark anima and dark magus sisters sometimes do though and i noticed that the tougher dark aeons (meaning those three) can drop ribbon with 3 empty slots

What should I go for first? Break attack limit or break hp limit? I'm try to get as much dark matter as I can as quickly as possible but I don't have the limit breaker for attack on any characters not the hp limit breaker...need help...this guy seems like he don't even need the dark matter anymore with the amount of attack he's putting out. I'm confused
You should just try your hardest to get the celestial weapons (ultimate weapons) for Tidus, Rikku, and Wakka to save time.

You got some amazing armor drops
Not as fast as this, but another form of setup for farming him if you don't wanna make your auto-haste auto-protect a BHPL armor.
Team: Lulu+Yuna+Ally with a One MP Cost weapon (Not Auron)
Weapons: Celestials & The One MP Cost for the 3rd ally
Armor: A-Protect / A-Haste / You should have DarkMaters enough for 1 ribbon from monster arena but if used you will just struggle a bit more
Stats: Str/Def/Mag/Agi Maxed
Abilities: Cheer/Focus/Doublecast/Ultima/Curaga/Autolife/FullLife
Always have Auron on team and Yuna back.
If you see Yojimbo is right after Auron bring Yuna for Aeon. Aeon will fall but you get to start after his attack. If Yojimbo is not after Auron but way later just bring Yuna for the strategy.
*Count your turns before Yojimbo, make sure all got Autolife'd and give them Cheer for any non-Lulu turn. Lulu will use double+Ultima for 140,000 aprox.
*Soft on any petrifcation. If petrification also destroys character you can still manage. The possible Ribbon you could made was to prevent the 3 petrifications
*2 or 3 Cheers would be enough for his Wakisashi to not deal over 9,999 damage, so you an survive now without BHPL
*Curaga to heal any damage and keep up doing DoubleUltima
*When Yojimbo is weak change into basic attacks to ensure the Overkill since Ultimas deal around 7.000 each
If you did not cheer enough and wakisashi killed you after the Auto-life you will only have 1 turn for each character before Yojimbo attacks again. Go for more Auto-lifes in case he repeats wakisashi. He will eventually use Kozuka or Daigoro to just kill one character and you can recover after that.
If fight delays bring an Aeon to get killed by Zanmato

Yojimbo drops BDL weapons, so you can customize one with One MP Cost later to have the 3rd ally able to also hit Yojimbo when you are in control of the fight
Use the DarkMatters you get to add Ribbon to the characters you are using first so you can keep farming without worrying for the petrification
from my experience whoever gives the killer blow, get the armor. Think it only not did it once for me.

You go all to the back of the cave and when you walk back to the front the dude will be there.
I forget the name of the cave but it when you go north of the Calm Lands, cross the bridge, then keep walking forward, then go down. Then you’re in an open space. Go left and there’s a cave.

This is not post end, you could exceed 9999 damage if your weapon has break damage limit
negative, you can break damage before end boss, but only after you have the airship. I have all Ultimate weapons unlocked to full power.

MrSaxo in the calm lands there's a battle arena which let's you capture Monsters around the world, capturing certain amounts of monsters unlocks new boss monsters, some of these drop the strength spheres, after capturing so many the npc will sell clear spheres which let's you remove the affect of the node on the sphere grid (not including abilities which cannot be broken) so you can replace all those pesky +1 +2 and +3 stats for +4 all round, 255 is the cap in the stats, and you don't need more than 999 mp as break mp limit is a wasted slot on your armor, the remainder can go into Hp once you reach those other values. With all that strength and luck, with the celestial weapons even Yuna and lulu can Attack (quick hit) for 99,999 damage as the celestial weapons have break damage limit
MrSaxo as for levelling, in omega ruins, capture a tonberry, they give 20k ap (30k ap on overkill) and ap cost to level caps at 24k, they only have around 50-60k Hp so you can kill them easy, if you have any weapons with double or triple ap then you can get up to 90k ap everytime you fight a tonberry at the arena

There are 2 ways (3 if you count drops from nemesis [and maybe other bosses?]) to get an attribute called Break Damage Limit.
1.) Get 60 dark matter and you can place BDL on an open spot of a weapon, allowing you exceed the 9999 max.
2.) Get celestial weapons. Each character has a celestial weapon that you can find pretty easily if you look it up. Each celestial weapon needs to be powered up through a sigil and crest, which can be obtained doing a bunch of different things. Wakka's, for instance, you get his sigil (? [don't know if it's sigil or crest]) from the locker room of Wakka's team in Luca. The crest is won in a blitzball tournament/league.

He equipped armour with Break HP Limit on the characters he's using and cleared out the sphere grid and filled them in with HP spheres that you get from killing Ironclad in the monster arena.
