A sincere thanks to you sir ....let me be honest ,there are numerous cad videos but trust me sir this one is the best one ive encounterd till date in terms of explanation and designing! Ive followed the part 1 and 2 of this video and was able to make it with ease because of the way you have explained it! Very great and wonderful job!
I really enjoyed this and the Part 1 video. I would respectfully ask if you could go just a little slower at times. You tend to say what is to be done and then bang you have clicked through and it is difficult to see exactly where it was that you selected. Only a suggestion.
hello please i tried to make this drawing with solidworks and i had a lot of difficulties i would like to know if i can have the file of this drawing where i can convert into a file readable by solidworks to better understand the drawing????? or also have the 2D file, that is to say the redaction because I would like this face drawing to come from a project that I am redacting
Hey. Loads of thanks for this video. After adding the motion link for the dog. I'm unable to slide it like you could at the end. Can you tell me what I might have done wrong. If I try to slide it the the entire driven shaft drive shaft and lay shaft along with the gears are rotating along with the dog.
The design is great but where can I get the reason for the values? I want to do this for my college project so I want to find out the reason for the values
Those are the assumed values(teeths) but with correct gear ratio. you can do your project just inspect theoretically(using design book) and then proceed with your project. Good luck😀
If you see anchor symbol on component, right click and select unground from parent

1. Ground the bearings
2. Apply revolute joint for the shaft with bearing
3. Then apply sliding b/w dog and shaft
