The Redmi has a pretty good cam. But you can see that the S23 FE has better dynamic range. The Note 13 Pro+ is definetly worth its money. Good comparison.
The Samsung S23 FE clearly shows its all round camera performance but considering its a lot more premium I would expect nothing less. For a midrange phone the Xiaomi is excellent value. Would be good if you could compare the Xiaomi against the pixel 7A to determine the real midrange king.
I am seeing this in Redmi note 13 pro plus coral purple..., The phone is really good..., Xiomi really really takes the first place to provide a flagship features in a decent mid range values ❤
Hi there, i am really confused between samsung s21 fe & redmi 13 pro + in india they are @ 30 k. Which would you recommend. Also - is pro + better/pro?
S21 FE - better software less bugs, No Ads on stock apps. there is a lot of 2ndhand Samsung in my country ranging from 18k to 20k rupees . in my opinion i would get S21 Fe rather than Xiaomi as for my experience samsung has a more consistent camera compare to xiaomi .
it always have been like this, but if you manage to find the google cam apk for redmi you can get better results, specially at night but it doesn't do wonders, it's just software.
Are you still making a comparison between the redmi 13pro 5g and the 13 pro plus 5g? I think the 13pro 5g takes better pictures than the plus. Has a snapdragon.
I would like to add that every time you compare any samsung phone, please do mention what chipset are you using. Since samsung varies between snapdragon and exynos depending on region and each chipset has a slightly different processing and output.
I still think there are room for improvements, like 4k 240fps, native 50x?, selfie quality same as rear, sensors bigger than 1 inch, etc. We'll get there eventually.
Thanks mate. That S23fe image with the blue snow is an epic fail for sammy, it's A.I assistant should of detected snow and keep it whiter.. Not bad for the R N13 Pro+. I still miss my R Note-10 Pro and this 13 looks like a decent upgrade for less than $500- Cdn
i would still pick the samsung. i have Redmi note 9 and im having a lot of ads when opening apps like security app where you change the performance, File Explorer etc. You get cheaper model because it has ads. on my xiaomi poco x3 pro apps tend to crash more often. so i would recommend getting Samsung as it has a more robust software. Free yourself with the annoying bugs and ads.
The more video tests we watch, the less we can form a real opinion. For what ? Because when I sold televisions in stores we "disadjusted" those of the competition to highlight our own products and sell them better. So there is nothing to prove that the increasingly personalized settings of the devices are the same. .. and that we can have the same conditions and therefore a real test and comparison... There are too many people who are paid or sponsored by the brands to lead the "sheep" that we are
thats true but this comparison is default settings, of course you can play a little bit and get better results, I feel like redmi has like a standard level of "beautify people faces" like it looks like "washed" skin, but I get your point, marketing is misleading.
Yeah, i dont think that you're entirely truthful about these and i think you switch up the two alot and you leave the phone titles on the same side. Been noticing that with alot of your phone cam comparisons on here. I definitely dont think you're always being truthful about which pictures are from which phone. If you really are doing that, i really dont understand why. Putting false conclusions in people's minds by doing that.
S23 is simply ..better! Redmi's pictures look washed out, some of them did a bad job with the software rendered depth of field, not to mention that compared to a colorful picture such as the s23fe, the redmi one looks just weak. Its a matter of taste, but on a technical view, the s23fe pictures are simply ready to post on instagram or social media out of the box.
Just a reference for People who wants to buy RN13P+ that at these price point your camera is close to a cheap samsung flagship. Those who are on a budget but wants to get better camera will like these comparison. its a good deal if camera is the only thing were talking. and for people who considers 2nd hand S23 FE it has the same price with RN13P+. 2nd hand Flagship/older Flagship vs Brand new Midrange will apply on these comparison.
The Redmi has a pretty good cam. But you can see that the S23 FE has better dynamic range. The Note 13 Pro+ is definetly worth its money. Good comparison.
One can go to Redmi Note 13 Pro only as it matches with Pro Plus in camera features and is almost half of its price!
The Samsung S23 FE clearly shows its all round camera performance but considering its a lot more premium I would expect nothing less. For a midrange phone the Xiaomi is excellent value. Would be good if you could compare the Xiaomi against the pixel 7A to determine the real midrange king.
That's the next Redmi Note 13 Pro+ comparison 👍

if you want to take a lot of photos, always go for samsung or iphone. The rest is debatable.

Photos on S23 FE are superb. While videos on RN 13pro+ have better exposure and lightening.
Can't believe Redmi struggled soo much in low light photos !
Not the brightest night shot, yeah...

Pretty sure it can, but the night shot is the suspect.
