I loved The Road, it’s so atmospheric and dark and heavy. Not action packed but it has moments. I love the relationship between the father and the son. And Pet Sematary, it’s so much more than just a horror, it’s got heavy themes woven throughout and it’s just amazing! It’s a very profound book mixed with King creepy!
Great haul!! I loved Love & Other Words! I cried so much because unfortunately I can relate to something that happens in the book💔 but I don't want to spoil it. Hope you enjoy it! And all the other books as well!
Yes, you should read Pet Sematary sooner rather than later… especially if you’ve never read a Stephen King before! Or, if you have The Shining, start with that… scared the sh*t outta me. And I really want to read The Ex Hex as well!! My next TBR is “The Once and Future Witches”… soooo many good reviews!
Maybe I will pick the shining up after I read pet cemetery. I honestly dont get scared super easy so I would love to find a book that genuinely is scary to me
You gotta prioritise Pet Sematary, it's a really fast paced book, also the movie is just as good. I like Stephen King but this is the only one of his works I've read twice. I think you'll enjoy it. All good wishes from me here in the U.K 😊
Confessions was so bad. Its literally the same story told 4-5 different times, so very repetitive and the same thing over and over. It also has some truly disgusting views in it about homosexual men, people with HIV, etc. It even uses HIV as a weapon, which is so not cool. I hated that book with a passion!
