1941: Delhi College of Engineering, earlier known as Delhi Polytechnic was established
1952: Affiliation with the University of Delhi and beginning of the formal degree-level programmes

1963: College administration shifted to Delhi Administration
1996: Campus shifted to 164 acre of new campus established at Sector-17, Rohini, Delhi-110042

bhai btech 1st year delhi students ko dtu mai hostel milta hai ? (40 km far from dtu)
New Hostels have been constructed so yes you may get 👍 however they allot on priority basis
