  • A quick video to showing how to quickly enable your (missing) Aux / Auxiliary function on your sound system. Also this video shows you how to access the hidden engineering menu, and how to enable and disable the MOST system (which is likely necessary to enable your Aux function).
As always, I'd sincerely appreciate it if you would like this video, and subscribe to my channel. That will make it easier for you to find future videos on related subjects that just might save you a boatload of time! Thanks!

@@amar614 Sorry, I'm not sure how to change the language on the NTG4.0 system, or how to enable (or disable) FM. Maybe the broadcast options are different in the vehicle you're working on? I couldn't find any information on how to select different languages in the system. I hope you do find what you need!

@@amar614 It's interesting - your #1 option is set to Japan, but your #3 option is set to Europe (2). Maybe you need to change one to agree with the other (not sure if your Mercedes is a Japan spec vehicle or Europe spec car). I'm not sure which video spec those regions use, but I suspect Japan probably uses PAL for video (I think Europe does as well). The US is NTSC. You might try doing a full reset on the NTG system to see if that fixes your issues. If you do, you'll lose any other changes you've made.

@@ksquarekareem9794 it sounds like your head unit has another problem in the audio circuits. That may or may not have anything to do with your auxiliary option disappearing. If you find that you need a replacement head unit, I did a video on how to identify the one you have, find an identical unit, and install it.

The video that shows you how to identify the model number of your radio, find a "new" (used) one, and swap them out is here: ruclips.net/video/FYcUgdMKM-c/видео.html

There are a lot of steps in the process, so I'd suggest going back over them. I read about this happening if the battery goes low during the process, so make sure that doesn't happen. You might try a total factory reset on the unit, which I believe will take it back to normal (then you'd have to re-enable aux again).
