She is an absolute joy. Been through so much health wise as a child and adult. Truly appreciate her for always laughing and smiling. And as someone else said, she would be the PERFECT partner for a day drinking with Seth! Just love her to pieces ❤❤❤
She is INSANELY talented and seems to be just an absolute sweetheart off-stage. Like everyone else, I binged the first season of “Emily” during lockdown and used it as sort of a vicarious getaway, but I understood the criticism it got. However, each season has gotten better and better and I’m so glad they’re coming back for S05!
Love Ashley Park in Emily in Paris. She brings a wonderful character to the show. Love her personality! She seems very down to earth. Wish the best for her career!
Was looking through memory boxes from New York trips, and realized that I saw Ashley perform in Mamma Mia in 2014! She's fantastic on Emily in Paris, and her personality shines in interviews. I'm so happy to see her success continue to grow!
I'm an old, very old mid-western man have never been to NY.... I have also been under the assumption that Broadway was a Theater Stage in NY that put on plays .... Now I know different LOL dayum!!!
Me, too! I'm embarrassed at how many times I rewound to listen again and again and again. The song was too short in the show so, I'm thrilled to hear her say that they released a longer version. Can't wait to find it. "Beautiful Ruins" is not nearly as poignant a title as: "Diamonds in the dust"
It was an amazing “moment “ on the show. Cried. Watched again. Cried. I’ve listened over & over. Can’t imagine there being a dry eye in the house that day. It was beautiful.
She is so funny 😂 I actually know people like her. My brother in law is a genius engineer, but he doesn't know anything about life. They live in a buble.
Well, there's "The Broadway Theatre" at 1681 Broadway. Speaking of which, Broadway is also a street which spans the whole island (and beyond). This is a bit confusing. And then there's the whole Off- and Off-Off-Broadway thing.
I think no one would disagree, she is immensely talented. She is true to her Korean upbringing of doing your utmost best. And we get to enjoy and celebrate that with her.
Don't feel bad, Ashley. It was only a few years ago I realized that ice tea is tea that's cold. When I was little I thought when you bite into a sandwich and hold it up and it looks like a smile it means you are happy, and that if you are sad the bite will be upside down.
Say what you will but in that thumbnail, Ashley looks exactly like *Merry Birchfield* who of course famously played the human form of *Siri* in _Vampire Assassin._
Oh, yeah I thought Broadway was a single theater. Thank you for saying that out loud, because why would you.... Okay yeah a way is a pass and broad means wide. Wide way... WTF existence is over 😭😭😭😭😭
Seth was teasing her bc she'd not realized that her memorizing a huge portion of the Pi sequence for the prize of a pizza pie was bc pie = *Pi* e She took the tease in great strides.
@@yootoobvyooer Yes, but you need to know about the tribal ancestors of the different countries. Those tribes were welcome to each others tradition for a very long time and traveled between. Yes, a Chinese Dynasty, at one point conquered Japan from the south and made them pay tribute. That Dynasty lost control 200 years before the Mongolians conquered China. The Japanese still had open borders and friendly relationships well into the Northern Shagonat and the Imperial South. It was the Imperial South that was set up mainly from the influence of the Chinese tribute system. I think that is should be somewhat accurate, feel free to look it up. The Classic Geisha were painted in the 16th century and were a representation of the hospitality trade. The villagers who get pushed out from Shogunate wars ended up in Okiya's. The reason it was valued and kept was because it represented an oppressed class. That was from tribes like Ainu, and Ryukyuans. So, yes Japan and Korea are separate countries, but the tribes had family members on both sides of the ocean and it's in the DNA. Thank you for letting me know, but I'm not racist, and I don't agree with the hatred because of an invasion. That happened before WW2, Japan is a different country stop the hatred and go get a DNA test. Then have a discussion about what is similar and life will be easier.
@@Charity4Chokora lol. Chinese Yuan dynasty conquered most of eastern Europe, so that makes Hungarians and Poles Chinese? And how does Chinese conquest of Japan relate to her Korean ancestry that Korea was never conquered by China? Look up ABCC11 gene, east Asians are different.
Ashley's great, but this reminds me more of some guy chatting a girl up at a bar. Maybe this is what people like these days. Interviewing is a lost skill.
It's both frustrating and entertaining when I meet people like her in the wild: highly intelligent and totally uncurious. But you got to get to them before the flat-earthers do.

She has such a radiance and positive energy about her as a person and a character.
It is good to be a human. Yes, she is wonderful.
She is an absolute joy. Been through so much health wise as a child and adult. Truly appreciate her for always laughing and smiling. And as someone else said, she would be the PERFECT partner for a day drinking with Seth! Just love her to pieces ❤❤❤
I just found that out. That she had blood cancer as a child. OMG, sad! But survived and is an incredible talent!

She's really funny. Love how genuine she is. Not sure if she drinks, but this an episode of day drinking waiting to happen. 🤣😂🤣💯
The plot twist is that when she's drunk she is hyper aware and knows everything
Definitely!!
OMG! YESSSSS!!!!! 😂🤣
@@podracer35probably. i wouldn’t be surprised. she seems very neurodivergent, just like me. alcohol makes me hyper focus.

Love Ashley Park in Emily in Paris. She brings a wonderful character to the show. Love her personality! She seems very down to earth. Wish the best for her career!
OMG! I LOVE HER EVEN MORE!!! Ashley is so adorable! Can't wait to see what happens to her character in season 5.

She's an icon and so sweet! Her character in the show is my favorite
I cried so hard watching that scene with her playing the piano and singing that song 🥲
Edit: I cried because I loved it.

I cried so hard laughing all throughout this interview. Gosh, love Ashley Park!!
Omg confirmation of season 5! Yesssssss!!!
Seth is so good at setting all these funny traps for her. Oh bless her what a lovely cheerful soul!
This was an absolutely great interview...with Seth & his staff at their best.
Love Ashley in all her work.
Im glad to get to know her personality. She is such a lovely!!!
She redeemed herself. I loved her on OMITB.
Getting to sing with Meryl on one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard that was written for a TV show.
Redeemed herself? Did she ever flop?
Cried so much to that song and wasn’t prepared 😅My new crying song
Omg this was one of the funniest interviews I’ve seen! 🤣 Love Ashley!
She sings very well ❤❤ Emily in Paris must have her 😊
So happy for her success. Been a fan since Mean Girls!
don't worry, learning new things every day keeps you young Ms Park! 😊😅❤
Delightful to watch her. Charm and talent personified

She has been on Broadway. It would be wonderful to see her onstage! In LIVE theatre!
I just love her, good actress and more!!❤❤❤
That could be a great comedy spiel, a person who thinks they know some things but then always keeps getting surprised to learn it's more.
Love her ❤
She’s awesome!
She is really smart and lovely woman 😊
She’s a natural …😊
Love Ashley ❤❤❤
I remember getting Pizza Hut personal pan pizzas by participating in the Book It program. 😋
They have to have her back on!
she's a 10/10 in everything but geography
And puns, somehow 😂

Omg she is so sweet/funny
first time watching her and I'm in love :)
I love heeerr!!!
oh wow, she's a good guest.
Seth please go day drinking with Ashley, it’d be hilarious!
Another great example of why you can suck at math but still be very intelligent. It's a two way street 😂
I also thought that about Broadway haha. Can’t relate regarding Brooklyn though 😂
Please, for the love of everything you have ever considered holy, please go Day Drinking with Ashley Park!!!

The talkshow format is so 90's
LOL ...everyday must be full of surprises...😂
Why do I feel like he’s being slightly disrespectful towards her? Maybe just now a fan of his humor. Love her though!
He sounds racist and is uncomflrtable.
she's great ust had no idea her mouth crooked upright.
She's XKCD's 1053. "You're one of today's lucky 10,000." Ask her about diet coke and mentos …

I wish I can sing, act, being funny and do math😊

Heavy auto-tune gets in the way of so many singers these days; she sounds like she doesn't even need it though, which is the annoying thing. :/
Of course she doesn't, she used to do 8 shows a week in musicals
I’m surprised they didn’t talk about her directing MY OLD ASS 🤔
That's Megan Park who directed it
Way too talented for being on such a lousy show.
why would they use that clip, the autotune is so embarrassing like live action disney bad
Classical Geasha face 😍😍 beautiful 😍😍

Seth, you are mean. She speaks more languages than you.
He’s not being mean he’s teasing and she was in on the jokes. He also complimented her.
Seth was actually very sweet and affectionate, and Ashley loved every second. She's a great sport and Seth was a fantastic sparring partner.
