    Hello ASL Heroes!!!
    Hey, I could really use your help.
    If you’ve enjoyed having access to an expert in ASL you can help me continue my work for you.
    A small monthly donation from you would instantly make a big difference here at the studio because teachers don’t earn much and I could use some help paying for server and domain hosting for Lifeprint.com.
    Right now you can help out a humble (not to mention kind, caring, generous, compassionate, helpful, friendly, fair, and hard-working) ASL teacher -- just go here and a few clicks later you too will be a true “ASL Hero!”

    Thanks!
    - Dr. Bill

    I'm so glad to see new videos popping up again. I really like these longer "story" examples. I don't have anyone to converse with in ASL. So these videos really help me practice my reception.

    I was taught the second 'weather' sign. When I first started learning I learned a lot of the old sign like the old 'who', 'sister', 'brother'. I went to college for American Deaf Studies back in the 90s, but didn't finish due to a divorce. I love this channel. I've haven't signed in years and I'm so rusty. I'm so grateful you are willing to teach for free. What a gift.

      I enjoyed your comment.
      I know and love all of those older signs.
      ASL evolves relatively slowly and most older signers still remember the old signs and know two or three versions of many different signs.

      The second version of WEATHER (I also grew up learning this) is actually an English (hence the initializing of the sign) sign that's often seen in SEE sign.

    Hi! I have a question, are your videos mirrored? Or normal? I really love your videos but don't know if I'm doing it with the wrong hand... Thank you!!

    • @sign-language
      @sign-language  Год назад +2

      The videos are not mirrored. I am right handed. If you are right handed that means when I move my right hand you should move your right hand. If you are left-handed you should move your left-hand the way I move my right.
