He abused cornerbacks left and right. Could you imagine how deadly he'd be in today's pass-happy league? He was overdue to be a Hall of Famer, and it's awesome to see him now receive this honor.

I was a teenager when he was being great and not an Eagles fan but he was always obviously great. Nobody ever could deny that. Harold is a great guy. I've been asking the question of why isn't he in The Hall of Fame ever since he became eligible; well, finally.
Growing up I’ve always had a fascination of guys who are under the radar type players who could be in the HOF Ken Riley of the Bengals, Charlie Hennigan of the Houston Oilers, Dave Brown of the Seattle Seahawks, Sterling Sharpe of the Green Bay Packers, and of course, Harold Carmichael. This man was dominant in ever sense of the word, if he could have gone to the Chargers or Cardinals with Don Correyell we Carmichael would have gotten into the Hall YEARS ago with the stats he could have put up. But here he is now, going into Canton with the Eagles. Much deserved Harold, for helping revolutionizing the game by popularizing the WR screen pass and being one of the greatest freak athletes to grace this league

big Harold, i was 11 when u came to the Birds. the coaches were ed kyaht and then mike mccormack. they were terrible but u played well and started your 127 GAME CATCHING A PASS streak. it ended against the cowturds. i remember that 5ft 8 in cornerback from the redskins trying to check you twice a year. you would eat him up proper. yea harold HOF
He deserves to be on but so does cliff branch.......their numbers and impact are relatively the same......difference is that branch has 3 rings and had a hell of a game against the eagles in 80 Superbowl.
Harold should've gotten in sooner. It's not his fault he had QBs like Reaves, Boryla and an over the hill Roman Gabriel throwing to him for half his career. If he had a more competent QB during those years, his #s would've been ridiculous.
