Appreciate all you do in your videos , same display in my car i just replace the spark plugs ,disconnected the battery reset the radio code , now working great , estimate from mechanic 450$, I spent 45 $ on irenion plugs two hrs my time , Sir Thank you very much.
You dropped the spark plug in the holes like that its may be damage it because the tip may hitting something and changed the gap of the spark plugs and you will misfire because the gap of the spark plug is messed up .
The fuel filters not serviceable on most newer cars the 2nd gen TSX included, you have to change the whole fuel pump also if you want to, it’s still not a expensive part though since these are Hondas
@@petroleum-dynamite it's obvious he meant 4 cylinder I don't get why people are so anal about it also who gaps stock plugs 😂 what do you think this is some high performance race car lmao.
Just a note: You should put in the title and/or description that this is for the 4-cyl engine, as the V6 is different. Still a good video, but that would be good to know for searching. :)
Switch the cylinder 1 and 2 coil pack to see if the code switches from P0302 to P0301. If the misfire changes cylinders then it is a coil. If the misfire still stays at cylinder 2 it's time to do all 4 spark plugs.
Honestly I just changed one of my coils out and two spark plugs. I knew most of us don’t have the money to change everything out but I would at least change out 2 coils and spark plugs just in case. It would be would recommend just to change out all of them to prevent misfires on your cylinders in the near future. Change two at a time if you can.
@@cartere9981I would never buy any sort of car parts from Amazon. I only use RockAuto for my OEM replacement parts. That way you know it's a brand new OEM part. That is guaranteed to fit.

Lots of people recommend different internals. Based on my experience it seems that most people on TSX forums are replacing them at ~100K miles. Some do it before and some do it slightly after 100K. TBH I just did mine at 70K. The car is coming up on 8 years and it was less than $30 for all four.
These cars are bullet proof it you keep the fluids fresh!

Just bought a 2014 TSX special edition and doing a tune up/preventative maintenance. Thanks for this video!
I like how he just dropped the spark plugs back in the hole like nothing lol

Rub a tiny bit of oil on the threads of the spark plugs, it helps them go in and keeps them from seizing.
Ngks are coated they do not need any sort of lubricant or anti seize they clearly say on their website NOT to.
Always start the bolts by hand then use a impact driver and never drop the spark plug
Love it
You are best for instructor
Wait 5w-20 ?
Hey, this helps me a lot, can u also do about changing the fuel filter on it? Appreciated

Wait did he said v4 engine?
Yes it’s revolutionary new engine😂
Came in here just to see if anyone else noticed that 😂
I knew he wasn’t going to gap the plugs when he said V4

As soon as I heard it I instantly looked down at the comments 😂
Maybe not a bad idea to disconnect the battery cable first...
I’ve never done that for spark plugs
@cartere9981 same, only for starter and alternator
Good video man, thank you.

He said it at the beginning of the video
It's an inline four cylinder engine aka i4, not v4 because the cylinders are inline and not in a v-shape ;)
I4*
It's a v4 bro....😂
is it advisable to use dielectric grease in the spark plug boot? or is there no need?
It's not a need, but would be good for it.
Ngk says no
Very helpful.
Thanks.
Very good
Thank you for the upload
What size socket for the bolts
16mm
I got a Acura TSX 2012 and a code po302 came up , is it a certain coil or spark plug and if it is witch one

Hello, did you ever figure what was wrong with it? That same code came up on mine as well.
Can you make a video on how to remove the rear deck, on the tsx, 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
How are the ones you bought from Amazon holding up? I just want to be sure they’re not counterfeit.
Yeah I’ve read a lot of these model number plugs being faked a lot

hmmmm,I checked Amazon and it says that part is not compatible with my acura tsx 2011 2.4 base.
Y would u drop the plug!???????
there goes the gap on that plug.

Brooo you didn’t put anti seize lub on it… let us know what happened next time you replace those puppies 😂😂
Ngk tells you specifically NOT to, fucking dingus…they’re coated
When should i change my spark plugs? I have 60k on my 2012 tsx

You didnt use a gapping tool to make sure the gap was correct for your vehicle. Should use a gapping tool and anti-seize lube on the threads.
Left at v4
You dont have to gap the spark plugs
You mean i4? Lol
Bud E v4.😂
Definitely not a v4 i4
Are we suppose to drop the spark plug like you did @3:46 LOL?
Noo
V4?
