    I like how he just dropped the spark plugs back in the hole like nothing lol

  • @thehegt
    @thehegt 5 месяцев назад +3

    You dropped the spark plug in the holes like that its may be damage it because the tip may hitting something and changed the gap of the spark plugs and you will misfire because the gap of the spark plug is messed up .

    Rub a tiny bit of oil on the threads of the spark plugs, it helps them go in and keeps them from seizing.

    • @cartere9981
      @cartere9981 Год назад +4

      Ngks are coated they do not need any sort of lubricant or anti seize they clearly say on their website NOT to.

    Always start the bolts by hand then use a impact driver and never drop the spark plug

    • @cartere9981
      @cartere9981 Год назад +2

      The fuel filters not serviceable on most newer cars the 2nd gen TSX included, you have to change the whole fuel pump also if you want to, it’s still not a expensive part though since these are Hondas

    Just a note: You should put in the title and/or description that this is for the 4-cyl engine, as the V6 is different. Still a good video, but that would be good to know for searching. :)

    I got a Acura TSX 2012 and a code po302 came up , is it a certain coil or spark plug and if it is witch one

    • @jacktran960
      @jacktran960 3 года назад +1

      Switch the cylinder 1 and 2 coil pack to see if the code switches from P0302 to P0301. If the misfire changes cylinders then it is a coil. If the misfire still stays at cylinder 2 it's time to do all 4 spark plugs.

    • @montraybrown9008
      @montraybrown9008 3 года назад

      Honestly I just changed one of my coils out and two spark plugs. I knew most of us don’t have the money to change everything out but I would at least change out 2 coils and spark plugs just in case. It would be would recommend just to change out all of them to prevent misfires on your cylinders in the near future. Change two at a time if you can.

    • @blutsx
      @blutsx  5 лет назад +2

      Lots of people recommend different internals. Based on my experience it seems that most people on TSX forums are replacing them at ~100K miles. Some do it before and some do it slightly after 100K. TBH I just did mine at 70K. The car is coming up on 8 years and it was less than $30 for all four.

    You didnt use a gapping tool to make sure the gap was correct for your vehicle. Should use a gapping tool and anti-seize lube on the threads.
