To actually get the modifiers, you have to click left alt (or left option depends on what keyboard you use), then you’ll be able to select the modifier. To go back to gameplay, to lock your mouse to first person camera, simply click left alt (or option) again. Hope this helps!
tips: clicking with a flashlight (flashing) can be used against the Goatman, the entity that appears when the timer runs out. the Goatman will disappear, but you will have to flash it again. it gives you a badge! the lantern is more useful for light. you don't have to slide/hold crouch when you are hiding, you can just stand while hiding from the "pink tentacle guy" (carnation). keys are used for getting animations, songs and timer styles. there are pizza tower songs and timers! you can slide down stairs to gain speed. jumping while sliding is doable and makes your speed drain slower. you can click on the modifiers by pressing "~" or "Left Alt" to unlock your mouse. you can turn off the music in the settings by pressing "~".
If anyone is wondering (and for mike): Goat man appears when you open the hatch to the "safe room". He jumps out at you (like he did when Bijuu spawned him) which you can delay the attack with your flashlight. He's been in the game, but Bijuu never noticed since he always went into the hatch immediately. Also! If slug fish is coming, get to the side of the wall, it doesnt have to be near the door. thats why it didnt work when he hid behind that one spot at 13:57 . YOU can either go to a wall or one of the hiding spots

Bijuu if you slide down stairs you go extremely fast and you can jump while holding slide. Also dont hold W while sliding because it makes you slower, if you dont hold W while you slide, you go faster if you hold W when you slide. And goatman is the person who kills you if the timer reaches 00:00, You can know if goatman is coming if the screen turns red, goatman also comes if you dont get in the bunker when you open it.
Tip: if you have to hide and get the double direction room, you can just stand in the corner of the direction where the hiding spot is, this can be used to save time, goodluck doing it! (And no it's not the wall jump one)

(The same way you did it on 1:48) Only after you select the modifiers do the enemies start appearing naturally, and the game gives you the papers on how to survive the enemy you just selected.

Explanation for a possible follow up video: Use "~" to open the settings and customization, or "Alt", both of which unlock your mouse. In the lobby, walk backwards to find a key hole, click E to use your keys to get customizable content, including music. When pressing customize, the bottom circular icon lets you swap out music, assuming you got some with keys. turn on the saferoom mods by clicking them The Goatman is a pain in the ahys, but luckily enough, it only spawns when the timer runs out. Doppel (Activated with saferoom mods) copies your exact movement, if it touches you, your movement is inverted, but it's attack can be temporarily disabled by flashing it with the flashlight. Litany (also a saferoom mod) is just dozer, but it attacks multiple times, and doesn't care if you keep moving, as long as you crouch or slide.
to get the oprion to play other music in the game, you need to find the spot in the Lobby where you can spend the Keys you gain from playing the game. Each key gets you something random from that vault, which ranges from different animations, to HUD Cosmetics, to even Music, which, yes, does include Pizza Tower Music. When you acquire a CD from that vault, you would go to Customize in the settings, then select the yellow CD looking Icon, and then you can select what music to play from the music CD's you collect. There's Ultrakill songs, Pizza Tower songs, and some others too. The spot in the lobby where you spend the keys, are big and yellow, somewhere on the floor of the lobby, near the ocean. To select the modifier options for these random options you get, press the Tilde key to unlock your mouse coursor. You should be able to click on the options that way.

I have a couple things to say 1. You can use L-ALT to unlock your mouse to activate modifiers (this is how you get Doppel and Litany to appear legitimately) 2. The goatman is a haste-like entity which only spawns if you either run out of time or you open a saferoom. He will despawn if, and only if, the player reaches the most recent saferoom. The goatman can also be stunned if flashed with a flashlight (click while holding it). The modifiers (the ones u see on the left when ur in a saferoom) are able to be clicked on by using alt to unlock ur mouse, and then clicking on the wanted modifier. The one with the most votes gets chosen, and their effect gets added to ur run. If you are on single player, the vote will end as soon as you choose the modifier. goatman if u want to survive him just... dont run out of time, and you can flash the goatman with the flashlight just make sure to right click dopple, you need to run from him, if he gets u it dosn't mean that you'll die, if he gets you he just reverses you're controles for a sec

mike please bring back battle cats :']] if you're not up to date they just started the lunar new year event! there's a stage at the legend stages that's called "monthly event all-stars grateful gathering" that gives you a bunch of xp! it has 10 total stages and their rewards starts with 500k xp, the next stage giving you 750k xp, and then 1 mil xp, and more! there's another stage called "lunar new year's gifts galore!" which gives you 20 cat food for free💖
