Ye hai meri homemade chicken nihari ki recipe. Ek dum asan, healthy, aur tasty. Umeed hai pasand ayegi.
List of Key Ingredients:
Cooking Oil - 1 Cup
Chicken Breast - 3lbs (~1.25kg)
Coriander Seeds - Tablespoon
Fennel Seeds - Tablespoon
Cumin - 1 Teaspoon
Black Cumin - 1 Teaspoon
Nutmeg - 1/4 Piece
Black Cardamom - 3 Pieces
Black Peppercorn - 1 Teaspoon
Mace - 1 Piece
Cloves - 7 -8 Pieces
Cinnamon - 1 - 2 Inch Piece
Dry Ginger Powder - 1 Heaping Teaspoon
Turmeric - 1 Teaspoon
Salt - 2 Teaspoon
Red Chili Powder - 2 Teaspoon
Citric Acid (Tartaric) - 1/4 Teaspoon
Chicken Powder or Chicken Bullion Cubes - 1 Tablespoon or 1 Cube

So i made this today. It turned out perfect. I didn’t had tatari so i used chat masala and worked really well. Just be careful with nutmeg. It can over power the flavour.

Salam, I made this and it was amazing, perfect in taste and the way I want it to be. Just one thing that I want to ask, the nihari masala that I made was too dark and it made the curry much darker then it should be. Can you please guide me.
Farah, Kashmiri red chili powder is not hot and is just for the color, Paprika red bell peppers or red dried fruits se aata hai jo zeyada dalne se thota karwahet ka teste deta hai. Deggi mirch aik Masala hai jisai Mirch ka naam diya gaya hai, jo bell peppers or kashmiri mirch ka mixture hai jo kay create kiya hai Paprika ki karwahat hatane k liye.
Serving k liye mare recipe mai agar 1 spoon kashmiri mirch hai tou substitute mai, 3/4 Deggi mirch( jo k Masala hai), ya 1/2 spoon Paprika dalna hai.
