Is there plans to make this a more useable feature for people looking to create the actual cover for their book? Like being able to design the spine and back cover and seeing it laid out so that you can view the front, spine, and back cover all at once in the correct format?
Hi Darla! This feature isn't available yet. For now, we only have the Grid view in the Editor (Switching to grid view > www.canva.com/help/page-view-settings). We'd be happy to share this great idea with the team for the next updates. Thank you! ^cn

Please be honest and call these ebook covers! Spent way too much time trying to find a way to create actual book covers. It's still not possible on canva. This is misleading.

IngramSpark require a 300 dpi PDF with a maximum 240% total area coverage. When downloading a CMYK PDF from Canva, will it meet these requirements?

This is only good for ebook covers. It doesn't create print covers.

Canva is NOT FREE. Like all other book cover designers, they have various roadblocks that will force you to make a purchase.
It is not free.
This is not a book cover you can send to a printer. It's just a mock-up pretend cover. *sigh*. Misleading video.
