The songs Stacy plays are indeed "In the Dark" and "Flashes," both composed by Bix Beiderbecke with help from Bill Challis, and unfortunately Stacy had to rush them to get them both on one side of a 78. I wish he'd been allowed to record them on separate masters so he could have played them more. slowly and lyrically, as Ralph Sutton did on his definitive versions of these pieces for Commodore in 1950.
No eran de este mundo!!!! qué maravilla!!!!
BEAUTIFUL!
Yes, I agree.
And these were taken from the original 78s!
If it was a spaghetti dinner I wouldn't be complaining because there's no Parmesan cheese.
Sounds OK to me! Is that Bix's "In a mist" as Jess Stacy's first and second tune - or his own compilation of "....Mist", "In the Dark" and "Flashes"?

Yes the tune is definitely "In the Dark" not "In a Mist".
Listening back after almost half a year, the piano's could have done with a good tuner. They sound quite flat, like a cheap upright.
TERRIBLE SOUND QUALITY! GREAT MUSIC RUINED!
