A quand un tour à Montréal - Québec?
Talking in general, we, the Basques have opposite ideas about Quebec case, for one side youre trying to preserve your culture and lenguage from a "foreign" asimilation and we like it. Otherwise, the culture that you preserve is French (a state who ocupied our land, declares our lenguage vanished from any oficial document and stuck any private foundation to build schools who teach in Euskera) in a place where youre culture was imposed to the real natives and stole theyr land. At difference from Ireland, we dosent have clear if youre allies or foes, sincerely.
I hope that my answer will give you some perspective of our point of view, with the hype of learning more about your point of view about us and our struggle i say you good bye and wish you a good day.

Your comments are ultra regionalist and I sense a touch of racism.

Also is your culture whos imposed to us, so is your culture who haves a dominant position against, Corsu, Kanak, Briton and Basque people, not opposite. If you see supremacy when we claim that we are not France but not when our lenguages are vanished in our own lands, youre blind.
