Axl’s rensen imput change is good IMO. He didn’t need the rainwater nerf. The devs need to find a way to make his projectile spam a little more engaging for the opponent. Higher risk/reward on Rensen would be a good start.
Pot and Axl balance changes have something in common Both of them got their core moves' execution simplified, not only erasing any engagement from doing inputs on said characters, but also making them much more obnoxious to fight for those who already have had difficulties with dealing with changed moves Its hard to make balance the way that makes both participants frustrated but Arc succeeded somehow Also Rainwater is so ass rn it doesn't need explaining (5:12 shows it all) #justiceforrainwater
What? Axl just got a quality of life change with his sicke slash input (the charge input was not engaging, it was trash. Especially for a move you want to spam when possible in normal) and lost his pressure reset and great combos from rainwater, that makes him way way easier to deal with (yes, rainwater is a useless move now). Axl didn't get nearly the Pot treatment, plus Pot is everywhere now and Axl Low-Tier is non-existent.
@@j4ff4c3ks1 I meant to say, there are people, who are struggling against Axl's zoning wether because of bad match-up (like Leo) or just skill issue, and these people are gonna to hate him even more now for being able to throw Rensen at will without delay Same with Pot: even for me as Axl main he was awkward to fight against (literally a skill issue on my part), now he's even more dumb and oppressive and I fucking hate him now Though I must agree, Axl changes are not as atrocious as Pot changes for those who hate dealing with them

this matchup is still winning for axl but backturn is pretty silly now. i think axl still wins it but leo's robbery factory is way higher. backturn super is a jumpscare now

@@nekopath2879 delayed rensen explosion launches enough for command grab to hit the opponent before landing. It's only possible from full screen.
