Good overall review but I think Mike glosses over the IPX rating. IPX2 really is a fatal flaw for anyone who seriously exercises. IPX2 won't survive more than 6 mo's for serious runners who run daily, RAIN or sunshine. We typically put in 40+ miles per week so weather cannot be a limiting factor. And for gym rats & runners who sweat a ton, let's face it, our earbuds get REALLY REALLY gross and NEED TO BE WASHED under a sink at least once a week. IPX2 prevents this. I honestly think Samsung KNOWS all this. They know these buds won't last a year for anyone except office warriors. This is an intentional design decision, which Samsung makes time & time again, to force customers into replacing their ear buds every 12mo's after they break. And 'water damage' isn't covered under warranty so it doesn't hurt the bottom line.
I just got mine a few days ago and I'm really enjoying how they fit, sound, and how long they last. As an average consumer, I find myself not really caring about ANC as I've never really been bothered by ambient noise coming through way before ANC became a thing, and that when I do activate ANC on these they tend to make me feel like my head's getting squished from ear to ear. In short, I'm not comfortable with it. So if you're like me, then you'd definitely still enjoy the experience these buds will give you. Plus, with the ANC turned off, you get to enjoy a longer battery life with them. As for the microphones, they're decent, does the job and sounds clear and understandable enough.
@@fredya2160 I know this reply comes late, but I've used these during my workout and I'm a tad disappointed. As a TRUCK DRIVER THESE BUDS2 ARE PERFECT works great for phone calls in noisy environments. Cons are battery life and no wing tip. Pros super light great sound.. Just watched the whole vid with the new buds 2. I agree with the ANC being a bit on the poor side, but again it's not the worst. They are a huge upgrade from the original galaxy Buds which I've owned for about 2 years now and I'm really pleased. Because of the wing tip on the og buds, I couldn't wear them for more than an hour which just pissed me off. Design is perfect. I bought these for 50% off alongside the watch 4, for which I traded in my watch active 2 -$150. Totalling more than 50% off the total price. I recommend these 100% to anyone who needs an upgrade or just the latest (not the best of the best) earbuds.

@@Morningbikeride There are no Galaxy Buds Pro 2 yet. You're probably referring to the Buds 2 which Mike reviewed in this video. The Buds Pro is $200 and I got it for less than the price of the Buds 2.
Here in Egypt both Galaxy Buds 2 and Galaxy Buds Pro are almost the same price and I'm currently using the galaxy buds plus. Given my situation, should I ever upgrade? Is there any upgrade to the mic quality from the puds plus?
Would you say that the audio quality is significantly better or improved over the galaxy buds +? I mean can you hear any difference between the two ? I've been told the buds 2 are on par with the buds pro in terms of sound quality.
Definitely worth the money. Sound was better, noise cancelation is better, more features, fits better in the ear (surprisingly), has more features, and overall better. I wouldn't say that it's worth the $150 if you currently have the buds plus, but I only paid $60 because of the black friday sale (was $109) and I also had a $50 amazon credit due to buying an oculus guest 2 (which is also worth the money). So overall a solid 8.5/10.

I bought the Galaxy Buds Pro for USD 145 and received it last week. No regrets.
But you can get galaxy buds pro 2 for same price and you are probably still within return window.
@@Morningbikeride There are no Galaxy Buds Pro 2 yet. You're probably referring to the Buds 2 which Mike reviewed in this video. The Buds Pro is $200 and I got it for less than the price of the Buds 2.
In Canada, the difference between de 2 and the pros is 10$ so I really don't know which one to choose.
Pros especially for that dolby atmos sound
Bought one of these on sale in April 2023 for just around $56 so all the good things on this video just amplified and the negatives became negligible.
I enjoyed it a lot. Thank you!
Here in Egypt both Galaxy Buds 2 and Galaxy Buds Pro are almost the same price and I'm currently using the galaxy buds plus. Given my situation, should I ever upgrade? Is there any upgrade to the mic quality from the puds plus?
Save money and buy watch 4 classic 🤙
Are these released?
Would you say that the audio quality is significantly better or improved over the galaxy buds +? I mean can you hear any difference between the two ? I've been told the buds 2 are on par with the buds pro in terms of sound quality.
I can let you know when I get mines today 🤷♂️
Definitely worth the money. Sound was better, noise cancelation is better, more features, fits better in the ear (surprisingly), has more features, and overall better. I wouldn't say that it's worth the $150 if you currently have the buds plus, but I only paid $60 because of the black friday sale (was $109) and I also had a $50 amazon credit due to buying an oculus guest 2 (which is also worth the money). So overall a solid 8.5/10.
@@TheSasuke1202 thanks for your input !
@@ericgranstrom8513 Nvm bro 😂. Keep ya buds plus.
@@TheSasuke1202 how so, Did something disappoint?
watch 4 video will be a great hit. For the first time Android watch seems to be attractive.
Bud 2 or buds pro
Choose 1 for me.
Are these better than amazon echo buds
I just bought one today after watching ur review and I love them
How are they after 2 years? I'm considering to purchase them
Got tired of buying AirPods so actually bought these for my iPhone and work good. Just as good as my old AirPods Pro’s for half the price
Is it really good? I was considering to awitch to iphone but idk how good they sound on iphone compaerd to galaxy phone
@@rambleroodle2369 to me they sound no worse then any other headphones in the price range. Only crap part is Samsung made a companion app for setting but only for buds pro models( believe that’s the name of them)
@@NotAJosh yea sadly it was only for buds pro and live i believe, its so shitty.
@@NotAJosh oh also do you have an experience with the mic on iphone? I think there was a difference between them.
@@rambleroodle2369 mic I do not but I can try and let you know
😅Out of situation question... How to sanitize these galaxy earphones and galaxy watch daily... Is it okay to clean them with tissue paper soaked in some sanitizer?..
I use Qtips dabbed with alcohol to clean my buds and watch.
I bought a pair kf Galaxy buds2 last week. And Im using them with my iPhone 6 (My samsung one got broke 😅) Anyways. These are really sounds great imo. Eventho I didn’t had the app for control, I connected these to a samsung device and turned on double tap, triple tap and edge tap. They works fine with iPhone too. Mic on the other hand is bit disappointing. Not the quality I expected. But that maybe because of the iPhone. I will check more on samsung device soon
you look like a villain in a comedy film starring kevin hart and I love it.
😂😂
is this good for call even if you are whispering?
How does it compare to OnePlus buds pro
I got my Galaxy Buds2 4 days ago! Thanks for this info ! I read the Quick Start Guide...still didn't get how to fit Buds2 in my ears, I literally lost them about 4 times, they just fell out my ears 2 times and 1 fell out my ear into the sink while washing dishes! I learned a lot from your video. 👍
Thanks for information 👌✌
Just tried both I prefer the buds pro the sound is just richer and the casing feels more premium.
How's the bass for the pros?
Fit was terrible on pros. I even tried foam tips...buds 2 and live take it for me
Great review.
Good review , after using the Buds Pro for the most part since their release I must say the Buds pro sound much better to me and I love my wireless charging
