Young OKC Westbrook driving to the rim was truly something else. I saw many of these live in games. It's such a shame the Thunder dynasty never materialized. Those three could've been the greatest ever together. If only their egos were compatible then the money issue would've fallen in place too.
if you have 3 guys fighting over who's gonna take the ball up the floor late in the 4th when the game's on the line, then the team obviously had some serious internal issues. Such a shame of what could've been.
@@kevinw.2591 That's what I;m saying. If they could've figured out the leadership, they'd be unbeatable but perhaps this is more difficult than we think.
@@bowdownclown Lots of speculation on my end, but what I saw was KD on the rise as one of the top 5 players in the league, Russ as the most electrifying athlete in the league, & Harden as a great point/shooting guars that just wanted to start. Plus a coach that was just too damn nice to hold anyone accountable (Scott Brooks), then going to a coach straight out of college (Billy Donovan) who probably didn't stroke all of their egos enough (KD). I admit, they were fun to watch, but the young team the Thunder has now is a much more cohesive & coachable unit who's quietly snatched the #1 spot!
@@kevinw.2591 Forgot about the coaches and never was a fan of either Brooks or Donovan. Like you said, both were probably too soft to hold three top stars in check. They had more highlight plays back then but the team now is much more leveled and cohesive indeed. I like what they've built. Almost don't want any additions to not spoil the balance.
Russell Westbrook is one of the most ferocious dunking point guards that ever played the game. His signature Statue Of Liberty tomahawk dunk was nasty 😳
@londonjennings9608 when Westbrook gets to rim, he throws it down with reckless abandon and he does not care if his own teammates are around the rim. He is just a straight up ferocious and a violent dunker
If this doesn’t get you hype, man idk what to tell you because sheesh. Ive been saying it for over 10 years since I started watching ball in Highschool, Russ is a pit bull in a jersey he is the best athlete we will probably ever see as a pg. I hope he gets all the love and respect he deserves because he’s become underrated and over hated for the past 8 years the man plays so hard for every team he truly is a bonafide hofer.
I love when I see videos like this about russ bc all you see on the internet is the shit talk like he haven’t already gave this game a lot. And I feel like he going to give a lot more next season
Such an incredible athlete. I wish the last 2 years had not happened for him, it must have been demoralizing on some level for him and he is such a skilled hard worker.
I’ve never understood why ppl don’t like this guy.. if nobody else does, I respect you Russ. Helluva family man and community leader, gives back, never in trouble, never load manages, always gives 1000000%, is an MVP and doesn’t take any crap. What else do you want in a man?? Much respect brotha.. keep rolling
I don't care what nobody say, this man is explosive, and he is still to me, and my honest opinion, one of the top 10 point guards of delete, I mean, the man can do it all, let's not forget, this man averaged a triple double for 3 years...
Russ used to be one of the best dunkers of this generation. Casual fans have forgotten since he missed around 45% of his 2022-23 dunk attempts. He used to be real nice.
I'm the same height as Westbrook, and am quite athletic. Watching the way he played, he could do things casually that makes you doubt if hes human. Idiots dont realize how insanely hard this stuff is. Im convinced the league is working with the media to try destroy his spirit and force his retirement, there's no reason why Westbrook could've been so demonized, hes an all-time legend.
Lebron doesnt have nearly as many good dunks as other guys, people too scared to go up with him. Even young guys like ja and ant already have a better highlight reel
You definitely forgot the one on Thon Maker, he basically put him out the league with that dunk… If Russ could get a team to actually let him run the 1, he would go back to getting triple doubles
Not to sh*t on OKC, but if Westbrook would've been drafted by one of major markets (preferable Philly), he'd get WAY more love. This dude could've played in ANY era and done work!
The Lakers really tried to ruin this man career by playing their play style when he wasn’t comfortable with it. I’m happy to see Brodie back to himself
I wonder why he lost his shooting. Now he is always left open at 3pt line. He used to be an average shooter that you at least can’t leave him open. He is still athletic and defensively still very valuable but his sudden drop in shooting makes him unplayable. I still like his game
Prime example of how the media can change an athlete’s entire narrative. There is nothing to dislike about this guy.
Facts and truths I 1000% agree!!…
Nah i still dont accept the skirt wearing stunt, but rest of him is spotless
@@arai6147fairrrrr
I mean except his very dumb plays in the later part of his career, sure
@@arai6147 his fashion. im 100% sure he isnt gay bc he has a wife and kids!
Incredible athlete and well beloved in his community.
Isnt loved lol😞
Love Russ, hope he gets a ring before he retires.
Facts!! 💯🙏🏾👑🫡
That primal roar after the angry dunks

I used to think the same but the more time’s gone on, the more obvious it would’ve fallen apart eventually based on what we’ve seen in recent years

I’m in an alternate universe where Russ, KD, and Harden stayed with OKC and couldn’t be stopped. It was beautiful 😢
You mean when Russ, KD, and Harden stayed with the Seattle Supersonics. 😉
damn ifeelu 🔥😫
This man dunks are so lethal, I honestly feel sorry for the rim Everytime.
Aye even if doesn't win a Ring until he retires he will still be one of my favorite players.
Russell Westbrook is one of the most ferocious dunking point guards that ever played the game. His signature Statue Of Liberty tomahawk dunk was nasty 😳
*the most ferocious , i’ve never seen someone make mfs not want to jump with him more than i do russ
He is the most ferocious no other pg punches the rim more then Westbrook
@londonjennings9608 when Westbrook gets to rim, he throws it down with reckless abandon and he does not care if his own teammates are around the rim. He is just a straight up ferocious and a violent dunker

Cant say anything less than Westbrook was/and still is a monster. Also best pg in 2016 by far
Always a dream to dunk like this man. Something truly special to see and witness someone explode to rim like this!
Too Explosive, Too Fast, Too Good
Number 1 in this
i LOVE this man’s playstyle! been balling like him since i was a kid in 5th grade
🤣😂🤣
You been slamming on 7 footers since you was 10????
@@wxtt6 LMAO nah i mean like being explosive and copying his game like his mannerisms, celebrations, jumpshot, etc
@@BingTheKingahhhh got it
his scream makes the dunks better
Russ posterizing 7 footers reminds me why I stick to blacktop tournaments and city leagues 😂
Under appreciated. Glad to have been able to witness some of these live
He dunks it so hard you can hear it
That 2 handed dunk against Philly is one of my favorite Russ moments. I think Embiid dunked it and he just came back and jammed it with authority!
I love when I see videos like this about russ bc all you see on the internet is the shit talk like he haven’t already gave this game a lot. And I feel like he going to give a lot more next season
This is the most satisfying highlight ever🙌🏽
Such an incredible athlete. I wish the last 2 years had not happened for him, it must have been demoralizing on some level for him and he is such a skilled hard worker.
he proved his doubters wrong in last year playoffs against the Suns, played his heart out and absolutely dominate, on both ends for the floor
U know it's a angry dunk when u have to let out a roar in each dunk 🔥🔥🔥
I swear it’s like the way Russ played it’s like he had a personal beef whit the rim
Who here after Kenyon Martin saying that he’s more scared of Russ coming down at you full speed
Love Russ! That first dunk might be my favorite ever, such explosiveness!
One of my most fav players ever … brings passion everyday …
I LOVE RUSSELL WESTBROOK. THAT’S MY GUY👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾🙂🙂🙂🔥🔥🔥👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🎯🎯🎯

That roar alone deserves to be in the Hall of Fame 💯
I love this game❤❤❤long live westbrook
Good one. The only two I really missed: THE alley-oop from KD (vs Sacramento) and the left-hander to put the game away vs Houston
Even if Brodie never wins a championship or a ring, he'll always remain one of my favorite players in the NBA 💯🙏
Hands down one of my favorite dunkers ever
Westbrook gang built diff 🤷🏾♂️
I don't care what nobody say, this man is explosive, and he is still to me, and my honest opinion, one of the top 10 point guards of delete, I mean, the man can do it all, let's not forget, this man averaged a triple double for 3 years...
Some of those rims probably had a family back home
Every dunk from Westbrook is the angriest dunk 😂
The speed and explosiveness he has willl never be seen again.
Man brodie crazyy athletic
@1:24 The guy in the green shirt, bottom left corner. He got a different angle if you look it up. 😁
Russ used to be one of the best dunkers of this generation. Casual fans have forgotten since he missed around 45% of his 2022-23 dunk attempts. He used to be real nice.
His speed with the ball is incredible...

Give this man his 💐. Hell of a career. Rare Breed 🤷🏾♂️.
Crazy thing is that he takes care of his body so much he can still do this
how has he never broke his right hand 😂
Notice how they clear the paint or shy away from meeting up top. They know he's gonna body them and get the foul.
Yea ion know what’s B Jennings was talking bout on GA, but Russell coming downhill full speed was terrifying for defenders…
that warcry is cool every time
Russ is the man very fast and athletic very consistent 💪🏽must be all that lettuce he eats and extra training sessions.
Psalms 136:24
And hath redeemed us from our enemies: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Though he does the same dunk always, for some reason it feels so iconic ngl
That cross drive is deadly.
Westbrook will be known as a good little dunker.
Nobody ever had such explosive dunks!
My man dunks like he wasn't loved growing up
Yooo y’all ever notice he always powers up for these dunks when his opponents bench is present. Shit is pretty consistent 😂
Mfer was fearless. Bro use to slam the rim without a care for the potential damage he couldve done to his hands 😂
the 2nd dunk... did this dude just growl at the man he was about to posterize... holy shit
AND THAT’S WHY HE’S MY FAVORITE PLAYER IN TODAYS GAME
Russell lebron and Vince carter got the best dunks every one got their favorites .
Lebron doesnt have nearly as many good dunks as other guys, people too scared to go up with him. Even young guys like ja and ant already have a better highlight reel
Nothing but respect
Even he is not at his prime now
His athletic ability still incredible better most of other young player
It’s crazy that he never competed in an NBA slam dunk contest.
That boy jugged on Gobert very first dunk loves that fuccing Tomahawk slam
Sick they didn’t add the dunk on Tony snell
RUSS NEVER HOLDS BACK. never. every dunk is full power.
You definitely forgot the one on Thon Maker, he basically put him out the league with that dunk… If Russ could get a team to actually let him run the 1, he would go back to getting triple doubles

Who is this narrator? 00:01
people are really mean 😪after analysis we see that this guy was the best Lakers during this season where the other two were suffering from injuries
The Lakers really tried to ruin this man career by playing their play style when he wasn’t comfortable with it. I’m happy to see Brodie back to himself

Most athletic pg of all time
You forget he’s a point guard 🔥
The first one is crazyyyy
Pound for pound might be the greatest athlete ever in the NBA
Some of these throw downs 🦍🦍🦍🦍🦍🦍🦍🦍🦍🦍🦍 one of a kind talent
russell westbrook should of stayed with the thunder
Westbrook is the most explosive player in NBA history
D rose up there too
Giving off those Prime Jalen Rose vibes...Explosive AF!
Unpopular opinion. Hes the best in game dunker ever.
Nastiest
First dunk was def his nastiest!
Bald Westbrook with the face mask was a scary specimen.
My favorite player
Westbrook is amazing just wish he could get a hold of his emotions!!!
Dude is absolutely violent
rui hachimura the #1 hype man😂😭
I hope he makes hall of fame
Bro always looks like he wants to kill the rim
And people had the nerve to call him westbrick!!! Man please, I'll take him still any day of the week and twice on Sunday!
Westbrook playing with so much Masculine energy and Full of testosterone
There is no one who hated the rim more than
That last dunk gotta be 4 pts.
this on the nuggets gonna be scary
Only person could match with Russ was D.Rose. I think when D.Rose got hurt it took a lot out of Russ's competitiveness
This dude probably got the most 2+T ever😂😂😂
They can’t stop that if their kid’s lives depended on it
