2:50 I have a Padsmith Empress and have been curious about the Akari. I was wondering/hoping that Akari would be a bit more controlled. But if it's faster, I'll probably just stick with The Empress since it's so fast already.

I am giving the Padsmith Empress some thoughts... do u use it with a sleeve? Is it also possible to use it without a sleeve like the akari?

i put a timer for this pad but i overslept, luckily I see that a lot of other glass pads are going to have cool designs, so ill just wait for the next one
I wish you'd use the Razer Atlas in your tests, its a very common mousepad and I tested it between the superglide and skypad and decided I liked it the most out of the 3.

GLSSWRKS claims the art is only 15% AI generated but I don't believe them. They most likely ran a sketch through AI that did most of the the work and touched it up by hand (details, text, color correction etc.).

I’m on obsidian red dot skates (not donuts) with a cerapad kin. I love the balanced/control feeling of this combo but I want to try the akari for the more quiet and more smoother experience. Will I experience the same level of balanced/control feeling with the akari/red dot skates, or will it be a bit too speedy/fast for me?

nice review Man. it is ALOT quieter than the other glass pads, that is tempting.i always hated that scatchy sound on glass, hurt my ears. does it sound ok when crumbs or something are on it? i am very curious about this glaspad, the artwork is so nice!
You have to keep the surface clean if crumbs get on it it can sound scratchy

Keep in mind cleaning glass pads is many times easier than cleaning a cloth pad. Takes not even a minute to wipe off and you're good.
@@xblur17 Oh I was talking about scratchy sounds not actual physical scratches. I have no physical scratches on my pad. Any glass pad will scratch easily if you but metal objects or anything rough on it like using glass skates and etc. I don't set anything on any of my glass mousepads ever.

All glass pads cost around 100$ USD. AI generated or not it looks good. So, who cares.
@@ILikeWhatILike69 his point is im gonna assume that art usually adds a premium to the cost, if its Ai you could have just got a custom for way less. If you go directly to the manufacturers these glasspads cost around 60-70 with shipping included. Add something unique then price goes up. But the artist actually did the concept art im p sure so point is irrelevant
