I really wanted the bird to sit on his shoulder, but his shoulders slope so much I couldn't figure it. When I found the tree with the branch drooping in such a way that the bird could perch just above the shoulder, I was really happy.
I'm not cool enough to pull off any Goblin King outfits! Does remind me, though. I do have the goblin expansion for the Labyrinth board game. I should paint those guys up at some point!
I played around with that idea, but his shoulders slope so much and I couldn't figure out a way that I could sit it without crowding the hat or looking lopsided, so when I found the tree that positions him just above the right shoulder I was really happy. I was also playing around with sitting the bird on the mortician's hat. I would be interested to see how you managed it.
I played around with sitting it just behind the headlamp, but I felt it made the miniature a bit too "up and down." Because the Mortician has quite a static pose, with his arms at his side, I felt it needed a bit of lateral shape to make it look less like a column. If that makes sense.
That is one drooping willow! Nice work, and good choice. I'd always be worried the little birdie got separated.

Get a few more Goblins and we'll have to change your name to David Bowie!

That is a lovely mini.
@@zombiedad It’s so good.
I love that crow, great vid.
His cute little hat that matches the mortician's is exactly the sort of detail why I love the Moonstone sculpts.
@@AlwaysBoardNeverBoring Agreed.
I attached my crow to his shoulder.

@AlwaysBoardNeverBoring are you on the moonstone discord? I can show you there.
Afraid not. I will try to hop on at some point, if I get a chance.
Hmm I would find the hat a good solution as well?
