Possessive Pronouns in English | Mine, Yours, His, Hers, Ours, Theirs | Learn English
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 2 мар 2020
- In this English grammar lesson we learn all about possessive pronouns.
The possessive pronouns are mine, yours, his, hers, ours, theirs.
First we look at possessive adjectives (my, your, his her, our, their) and how to make a possessive pronoun by replacing a possessive adjective + noun to avoid repetition.
We give many examples of possessive pronouns and the different positions that can appear in a sentence.
At the end of this ESL lesson, there is a simple quiz. There are eight sentences with a blank space in them where a possessive pronoun should go. The viewer needs to give the correct possessive pronoun that goes in that space. The answers are given after some time.

Sir, your videos are very good. Sir, please tell me which sentence is correct. (1)You are the boy who live/ lives in this house.
Hi!
If you are making a question you can say: Are you the boy who lives in this house?
But if it's an affirmative sentence you can say: This is the boy who lives in this house.
