Mother-daughter duos dominate graduation at Trident Technical College

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) - Of the almost 2,700 graduates of Trident Technical College this spring, several have family ties to their fellow grads.
Terri Alexander and her daughter, Chelsea Alexander, both participated in the May 3 commencement ceremony.
Terri, a student reflection speaker at the ceremony, said she considered her daughter her “math tutor.”
“Generational blessings are amazing,” she said. “Your children will see your struggles, but they need to see your triumphs, as well. And when you’re in school, there are struggles and there are triumphs.”
