Fuqq, I’m seeing this for the first time in 20 plus years since my brother and I spent countless hours on it and I still clearly remember all the sounds and imagery. The possibility of remembering all aspects from a niche game from your childhood just boggles the mind.
Boy, the memories. I'm watching this to listen again the music for when the fish is on the line. Seriously, these tunes are great, and I can't find a single rip of them.
I can't even begin to describe the hours I put into this game. I remember me and my father used to have so many laughs playing two player, having competitions. The good old days!
For gods sake does anyone know if there was ps1 fishing game where you could catch a monster arapaima, you could also travel to different lakes and every region/country had his own version of a monster fish(there was a japanese monster fish too if u go to fish in japan but i cant remember anything more,no name of the game no nothing)only thing i remember is it was on the ps1 and it's noone of the big bass fishing or reel fishing 1 and 2 games
Not thinking of Fisherman's Bait 3? That also had the secret Lost Lake level where you could catch this weird looking fish that had a chance to turn into a t-rex?
@@Casowsky No,i found that game too but it was noone of these where they turn into a t-rex or another prehistoric monster,by monster fish i meant monster fish, they were really big,by really big i mean really real life big, like if u ever watched jeremy wade's river monsters show that sort of big
Fisherman's Bait 2: Big Ol Bass would've been my next guess, since it had the huge fish, but not to the ridiculous level that Big Ol Bass 2 (or Fisherman's Bait 3 as the other person called it). Other PS1 fishing games not mentioned are Black Bass/Blue Marlin, Monster Bass, Action Bass, Saltwater Sport Fishing, Bass Landing 1 & 2, Lake Masters (Japan only?), Let's Go Bass Fishing! (Japan only), Big Bass World Championship... Holy crap, there are a LOT of PS1 fishing games, and I'm probably missing some...
Me and my dad used to play this game alot. This game got me hook in real life fishing when i was a kids.

Same here. And if you held the Playstation controller sideways it helped to make it feel like a fishing rod as you winded it.

I think the best fishing game ever made, i had a lot of fun with this so much time ago! :D

It looks better than Action Bass, but the music is not as good.
With the DualShock controller this game was insane
