    Hall and Oates = timeless feel good music. Sway you killing them with the interviews. Personally I'm tired of all the gossip and bullshit that's popular these days with the other radio stations. Keep it up brother.

    I can't go for being twice as nice. I listen to I Can't Go For That (No Can Do) almost daily. That groove and melody is undeniable and forever stuck in my memory bank.

    Hall in Oates is deffinetly on of the most underrated groups of all time. .. I grew up listening to these guys... I remember hearing Prater Eyes for the first time.. I was 7, and amazed !! 26 years old now and still
    Listen Stevie Wonder, The Beatlees, Earth Wind & and Fire, Al Green, Bee Gees, Chi- Lites, Micheal McDonald, Aretha Franklin, Patti... lol I can go on for days.. -
    It's a shame that this isnt heard of in my generation...

    • @aikenstodd
      @aikenstodd 9 лет назад

      I don't think they're underrated in the 80's they were huge. Its dope to still see them together and Darryl has a nice series on RUclips that Sway was talking about if you haven't checked it out yet. Your list is impressive its a shame that music like that isn't made anymore.

      To a certain extinct. .. technology has ruin the importance of music... everyone is an artist, and the industry is flooding with music that doesn't mean anything. ... I feel like artist such as Stevie, hall and Oates etc. .. aren't as relavant, as far as inspiration.

    • @aikenstodd
      @aikenstodd 9 лет назад +1

      Nah brother thats just your youth talking now. I agree with you with the whole technology has played a big part in cheapening not only music but alot more. As far as these guys not getting their proper dues and especially Stevie you're dead wrong. Real music heads knows what it is.

      aikens todd what I'm trying to say is.... think of R kelly.. hes Great artists. .. inspired by guys like Luther, AL Green etc... 10 years ahead... Look at Trey songs... mostly inspired by R Kelly.. By those other guys as well... but how much Luther or Marvin Gaye do you you hear in trey songz ?.. its more R. KELLY than anyone else ..
      there not any "love & happiness"...
      there's mostly "pop bottles, and bring the hoes to the V.I.P"
      It's almost as if, timeless music doest exist. Not saying that there aremt any out there. . I like Guys like Miguel, Robin Thicke and
      Sam smith... but that feeling isn't as frequent as it once was. Soul music is becoming very watered down more and more by every generation.

      Oh okay I get it. Most of these so called R&B artists of today seem like their influenced by rappers more than anything else. To tell you the truth I don't listen to most of the R&B of today its just corny to me.

    Hall and Oates are too underrated. They had great 70s, 80s, and 90s music. 80s poppy synth sounds still had those great soul vibes. Only other person who I think made quality music within three decades is Billy Joel. Have them back Sway!
