1st gen kpop has good traits that I wish new gen kpop has: natural visuals and pure charms that they do not need to have plastic surgery to look handsome, no whitewashing, and songs that are actually meaningful to what's happening to society too (like Hope, Warrior's Descendants, We are the Future, etc). Thinking of circumstances in the 90s, it must also have been so innovative and brave of them to have a cute concept! If I were a teen back then I would've had biases woohyuk and jaewon
I think that era is starting to return with newjns. A lot of photos and videos (there’s even more found on k sites and k side of Instagram) that prove newjns girls have had very little to nothing done. I can tell Hanni has probably gotten her nose and jawline done but the other girls have not changed visibly at all. Also I don’t believe the skin tone will ever go back to the shade it is here., the lighting quality of cameras in Korea have just gotten way better and also many Koreans practice religiously skin care and skin protection. But I think we will probably start seeing more natural lighting and filter, like the ones they use in some Korean movies and dramas like Reply 1988

I don't think having plastic surgery or anything is wrong. It doesn't affect the music at all.
