    ...Plantain sucker multiplication/Macro propagation Introduction...
Tissue culture is the artificial multiplication of plant tissue or cells outside the parent plant.
    Main Aim/objectives
-To replicate one sucker into 50-64suckers(peepers)
-To produce a clean and healthy sucker free from nematodes within 2 to 4 months.
    Materials Needed
    *plantain sucker
    *saw dust
    *water source
    *watering can
    *nematicide
    *cutlass
    *knife
    *Rake
    *Hand gloves
    Procedure/Method
1.Remove a maiden sucker from the parent plant
2.Remove the outer layer using a knife.
    3.cut the sword
4.Cross-cut the base containing the apical meristem into 4 equal parts &divide each portion into two making 8 portions.
5.wash the 8cuttings in a solution of nematicide to get rid of nematodes
6.Make a bed and spread sawdust on it & sow the cuttings
    7. Cover them with sawdust to facilitate germination & water depending on the soil moisture conditions.
8.sprouting of peepers(small suckers emerging from the soil) starts after 21 days.
9.Prick/remove the peepers & transplant them at the post nursery where they continue to grow for four months before they are transplanted on the main field.
Note After 21 days , each cut replicates 8 peepers. which means , 8*8=*64suckers*can be obtained from just one sucker through tissue culture.

I had a banana flower plant that I wanted to get rid of and I did the same thing by chopping the root section into pieces thinking I destroyed the plant. Low and below, I saw multiple plants growing up this year from where I dashed them. Now I understand the process after seeing what you did. You are brilliant Sir!

Amazingly informative video. Can I give a constructive comment. When you walked closer to the camera it was easier to hear you but the camera person would walk back to maintain the same distance so then it was hard to hear some of the vital information. Also, removing the music might be a good idea as that is annoying and also interferes with hearing you.
