I've been away from this kind of music because of homelessness / addiction / mental health problems etc & I'm making up for lost time DISCLOSE are excellent d-beat noise love every note on this excellent EP
@@chicnnugit9086 What bothers me is he sounds like he is forcing his voice into an unnatural growl and he uses exactly the same style in every track. It doesn't quite gel with the music for me, and sounds almost off-key (in an unpleasant way). It's hard to properly answer your question, but I guess I'd prefer a singer who went all-out screaming. Shitlickers had a fantastic EP with a sorta similar sound but better vocals, and I'd even bring up my favourite hardcore release of all time: Boris' Vein album. The vocals on that are perfect and fit in exactly right. Maybe something along those lines would also have suited this band. Probably just my opinion though.

This band is so brilliant, they've got the perfect sound... but sorry, I'm really not a fan of the singer :(
His voice totally lets it down for me
What do you want him to sound like? Genuinely curious :/

@@thefinkie6459 I would agree that both of those examples have better vocals but I think Kawakami’s vocals still fit good enough for me
@@thefinkie6459 I can see how you feel that way, but I personally love his vocals
Understandable, i definitely prefer the vocals off of Apocalypse Continues but i still enjoy these
