The reason I admire Jin's confidence is because it is something he worked hard to create and works hard to maintain. Being confident can come naturally, but for many shy people (me included) it takes a lot of effort to appear confident and grow your self worth! Moon was a dedication to Army as well.. because he thought he'd have to enlist in 2020. The version of Epiphany you heard wasn't the full song either. I hope you can extend Jin week by a day and finish those too because those songs are special. Awake was the first BTS song to ever be played on US radio and Moon was selected as #5 in the top 50 boyband songs of all time by Rolling Stones. Sorry if that hampers your schedule! I've seen interviews with Coldplay where people try to shit on BTS and Chris shuts them down right away. He said they're the hardest working guys he's ever met. Coldplay fans were incredibly sweet about this show too - they were proud of Chris's words and touched by Jin's sincerity. That crowd is mostly Coldplayers, and I'm glad they gave our Seokjin so much love and support. He really did fly around the whole world to perform once and fly back, just so he could sing this for ARMY before he left. It still makes me tear up. The song isn't complete without the "Come on brother, come on Jin" from Chris, now. And the mix-up and laughter at the end, the sort of thing that happens live, that makes it extra special. Coldplay members wear a Wooteo badge onstage now. It's seriously the most wholesome possible relationship. You can see more of it when you're watching the whole band. 💜

Fun fact: bts never requested to be exempted from the military and said countless times, that they will serve when called upon, but the government was dangling the "exemption" over their head and created s wave of unnecessary hate against bts from the koreans. The government was trying to use them for their own gain, including making bts pay for the busan concert, which was supposed to be paid by the government, because it was part of korea's promotion for the world expo. Bts really shocked everyone when they announced that they are enlisting now, because they still had some years left. It was like a BIG move, because no one knew they were planning to do it, and the media freaked out. The funny thing is that Chris confirmed here, that HE knew about the enlistement, before the korean government knew about it.

I feel like Awake, Epiphany and Moon are so important to Jin's identity as an artist, they warrant some attention to lyrics, performance and MVs outside of your BTS reactions schedule. They show Jin's character and growth as a person and as an artist. The vocal line of BTS doesn't have as extensive writing credits in BTS discography as the rap line so their solo songs are some significant milestones where they left their prints.
But when it comes to Awake and Epiphany really REALLY have to be seen in BTS album context though like. Epiphany is the /culmination/ of the love yourself series, and Awake is in context of all the member's solo song struggles in WINGS that end with his contribution to them.
@NJ. I agree but compilation/studio albums like LY and Wings/YNWA are so packed that they are a lot to digest. Imo the solo tracks warrants a different occasion for discussions, especially if the members have writing credits on them. That will only enhance the experience when we go through those albums later. We enjoyed the rap line and Jimin's solo tracks on BTS albums before and I think it's fun for Jonathan and other new armys on this journey to get to know Jin as well of an artist as we did with the rap line and Jimin.

Nah, you can't end Jin's week without watching Awake, Moon, and Epiphany live performances. Also listen to Tonight. Those are all Jin's songs. I love Jin so much because he's so multifaceted. It's quite easy to overlook him because you're boxing him in the category of being goofy. But he's a quiet source of strength and courage that the other members draw on. In fact, all of them play a very key role that in their absence you can notice a very obvious void left behind. I love these 7 normal men from Korea so much. And I love you too Tribe Loui. kim seokjin is king 🫡 seokjin tends of be loud and joke around because he doesn't like it when the atmosphere is down. when the group is in unfamiliar environment he puts in effort to break the ice and make jokes so that the members can feel more comfortable even if it means looking silly to the audience (you can esp see this from their American interviews). hs is actually very introverted, if you watch his Bangtan Bomb attending some movie premiers you can see he was stressed out bcs he didn't know anyone there. then during jhope's jack in the box listening party, pictures and clips of the members kept appearing on twitter through other attendees but we couldn't find any of jin and thought he didn't attend. he later posted that he was there but read webtoons instead of mingling with the crowd and then went home early. thank you for seokjin week!
glad u finally watched The Astronaut live at Coldplay's argentina concert! Though i noticed when u jammed/danced, u tend to look away so u may miss stuff happening in the video, like the really emotive parts or when the audience was sorta crying and it may take a bit away from ur full experience of it :ppppp anyway it's nice for me to relive the Jin and Chris Martin/Coldplay's younger bro-older bro r/s~!

In glad you didn't yet check out moon and awake cus they are important parts of the bts albums. When you see how jins personality was in 2013 it becomes a natural understanding of why he is such a good all, take nothing seriously guy on camera these days. He was extremely shy, insecure, introverted but he literally powered through those days despite everything. Nowadays jin is the groups source of reassurance and strength and an incredibly emotional songwriter. Seriously next to rm he is the one who uses the most nature imagery and metaphors. I hope when jin is back he can give a full taste of what he is capable of.... his songs have that emotional depth of someone who hid away a part of themselves.

He really did fly around the whole world to perform once and fly back, just so he could sing this for ARMY before he left. It still makes me tear up.
The song isn't complete without the "Come on brother, come on Jin" from Chris, now. And the mix-up and laughter at the end, the sort of thing that happens live, that makes it extra special. Coldplay members wear a Wooteo badge onstage now. It's seriously the most wholesome possible relationship. You can see more of it when you're watching the whole band. 💜

To answer your question, is there something else to react to - YES :D Epiphany live, Moon live, etc. And to fully appreciate Jin, he's so much more than a funny character, he's really a caring hyung for all the members (there's a lot of compilation of him taking care of the members) and very sincere and thoughtful when it comes to army (you can watch his Heart Events for army during concerts, even for yourself, you will enjoy it). Fun fact: bts never requested to be exempted from the military and said countless times, that they will serve when called upon, but the government was dangling the "exemption" over their head and created s wave of unnecessary hate against bts from the koreans. The government was trying to use them for their own gain, including making bts pay for the busan concert, which was supposed to be paid by the government, because it was part of korea's promotion for the world expo. Bts really shocked everyone when they announced that they are enlisting now, because they still had some years left. It was like a BIG move, because no one knew they were planning to do it, and the media freaked out. The funny thing is that Chris confirmed here, that HE knew about the enlistement, before the korean government knew about it.

I feel like Awake, Epiphany and Moon are so important to Jin's identity as an artist, they warrant some attention to lyrics, performance and MVs outside of your BTS reactions schedule. They show Jin's character and growth as a person and as an artist. The vocal line of BTS doesn't have as extensive writing credits in BTS discography as the rap line so their solo songs are some significant milestones where they left their prints.

But when it comes to Awake and Epiphany really REALLY have to be seen in BTS album context though like. Epiphany is the /culmination/ of the love yourself series, and Awake is in context of all the member's solo song struggles in WINGS that end with his contribution to them.
@NJ. I agree but compilation/studio albums like LY and Wings/YNWA are so packed that they are a lot to digest. Imo the solo tracks warrants a different occasion for discussions, especially if the members have writing credits on them. That will only enhance the experience when we go through those albums later. We enjoyed the rap line and Jimin's solo tracks on BTS albums before and I think it's fun for Jonathan and other new armys on this journey to get to know Jin as well of an artist as we did with the rap line and Jimin.

Nah, you can't end Jin's week without watching Awake, Moon, and Epiphany live performances. Also listen to Tonight. Those are all Jin's songs. I love Jin so much because he's so multifaceted. It's quite easy to overlook him because you're boxing him in the category of being goofy. But he's a quiet source of strength and courage that the other members draw on. In fact, all of them play a very key role that in their absence you can notice a very obvious void left behind. I love these 7 normal men from Korea so much. And I love you too Tribe Loui. seokjin tends of be loud and joke around because he doesn't like it when the atmosphere is down. when the group is in unfamiliar environment he puts in effort to break the ice and make jokes so that the members can feel more comfortable even if it means looking silly to the audience (you can esp see this from their American interviews).
hs is actually very introverted, if you watch his Bangtan Bomb attending some movie premiers you can see he was stressed out bcs he didn't know anyone there. then during jhope's jack in the box listening party, pictures and clips of the members kept appearing on twitter through other attendees but we couldn't find any of jin and thought he didn't attend. he later posted that he was there but read webtoons instead of mingling with the crowd and then went home early.

glad u finally watched The Astronaut live at Coldplay's argentina concert! Though i noticed when u jammed/danced, u tend to look away so u may miss stuff happening in the video, like the really emotive parts or when the audience was sorta crying and it may take a bit away from ur full experience of it :ppppp anyway it's nice for me to relive the Jin and Chris Martin/Coldplay's younger bro-older bro r/s~!

When you see how jins personality was in 2013 it becomes a natural understanding of why he is such a good all, take nothing seriously guy on camera these days. He was extremely shy, insecure, introverted but he literally powered through those days despite everything. Nowadays jin is the groups source of reassurance and strength and an incredibly emotional songwriter. Seriously next to rm he is the one who uses the most nature imagery and metaphors. I hope when jin is back he can give a full taste of what he is capable of.... his songs have that emotional depth of someone who hid away a part of themselves.
I miss Jin so so so much, it hurts sometimes :( but today I laughed a lot thanks to you both! I always thank Jin for putting a smile on my face, and I also want to thank you, Loui, for this! 💜
