I am quite saddened to see alot of chamorro videos and the negative comments that are being said about the authenticity of chamorro dance, culture etc. At least the Chamorro have an identity, whether it be similar to our other pacific island brothers and sisters, that's what matters. @@mafuticamachile6291 Just curious, have you ever taken a class that covers culture in general? Many customs and concepts have been transmitted from one place to another. Given how similar the Pacific Islands are to one another, its not that hard to believe they'd have a mix of other cultures. I'm not quite sure what exactly you're mad about though, could you please explain it to me a little more in depth?
Yea, I agree. I don't know why the other San Diego "Guamanian" dance groups don't take leave it to the performers to sing. It shows a sense of pride, or some sort of understanding for what they are singing and dancing versus being clueless and dancing to a language you can't even comprehend.

I like how they all have to sing/chant. Not just the band doing all the singing.
