My wife and I traveled to Italy for the first time in 2014, to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. After an initial stay in Rome, we traveled to Castello delle Serre - and had one of the most wonderful vacations we have ever experienced.
Salvatore is an absolute gem, from the incredibly insightful day trip planning tips he gave us at breakfast each morning (far more interesting, colorful and evocative than the promotional material we found at each place we visited) to a very special cooking class we took on our penultimate day.
We will always be grateful to Salvatore and his team for the special memories he gave us and truly hope to visit again some time. While we are just one of many guests he will have looked after - and hence has probably forgotten us :) - we will never forget Castello delle Serre and Salvatore.
PS: I absolutely fell in love with Tuscany!
