Despite his songs' usage in visual media, in trailers and shows particularly, he's never really been what you could call mainstream. After that huge ceremony in Paris for the 2024 Summer Olympics, the fact that France effectively held Woodkid up to the rest of the world to represent it, though, I feel like no one can claim he's not a big deal.
