Redevelopment approved on site that's home to Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum

The future is uncertain for Marvin’s Marvelous Mechanical Museum. The Farmington Hills City Council unanimously approved a new development, which includes a brand-new Meijer in the strip mall that’s home to the local attraction.

No, they can’t do that. I had great memories at Marvins Marvins. This woman cannot do it. I would give money to keep Marvins open for good, and I will keep a banner to the mayor that says do not close down. Marvins do not touch it.

They should compensate them or just simply build the building around them. Lots of antiques in there.

I don't believe it will be better. The way it is now was all envisioned and set up by Marvin. Bigger doesn't always mean better! It's going to be very tough to move everything. The current location is unique!l and vintage!
